  1. Enable XMP and than download run Prime95 version 26.6 you want this one so that it doesn't hammer your CPU into oblivion select the test blend when it asks you what test you want to run. To test the memory to make sure it is stable I would let it run for at least 8 hours. This may not be all that necessary but I am a major advocate of being overly sure an overclock is stable. A lot of people forget that XMP is an overclock and anything beyond the CPU's supported memory speed is an overclock. With all that being said you should have a nice stable RAM overclock that may improve performace by a bit
  2. It is a decent single threaded upgrade it is a minor multi-thread upgrade and for gaming only a few percent better
  3. The question always is are you happy with the performance you are getting and if you are not are you not happy to decide it is time to upgrade. All smart access memory is a part of the PCIE spec that AMD used first it will almost certainly be coming to intels platform. I would never upgrade for the sake of upgrading the decision is yours obviously but I would not recommend it
  4. not worth it just wait a few months if you can and stock should be normalized not like your getting a GPU right now
  5. that is because it is not measuring GPU usage the way you think it is that is talking about the 2d part of chip not the part that consumes a lot of power
  6. Your Card will down-clock itself at idle you will not see any benefit from doing that
  7. I was trying to figure out if I should buy a third fan for the NHD15 and was wondering about how much diffrence it made to have 3 fans instead of 2 I am cooling an overclocked 3900x
