  1. I figured out what my issue is but I have no clue how to fix it. When I record with my streaming PC I record in stereo and the at2020 is a mono mic, so in order to fix the single channel recordings with the mic I down mix the stereo recording of the mic to mono so it plays in both channels. This for some reason adds the hissing sound. Any recording I do even if I only record the mic using a mono channel it still adds the hissing sound unless I let a stereo recording only play in a single channel, then the hiss goes away. Also if I set my streaming pc to record in mono everything works and no hiss. I want to record in stereo because of game play and stuff. I'm thinking of somehow externally converting the mic to a stereo signal out of obs will fix this issue but I have no clue or idea on how to do this.
  2. Not the obs plugin it's something with my streaming pc
  3. I think the hissing might be from my obs plugin that is doing some sort of a compression to it or something
  4. Also actually the static does get picked up on recordings my gate was on and it wasn't picking it up previously *static noise* 2019-08-08 04-28-52.mp4
  5. also changing the sample rate makes the playback all messed up and super distorted only 48000hz works
  6. I tried plugging it into a wall and I got no sound from it to my headphones. The interface was getting power.
  7. The Mic is capped and 48000hz and i record at that to so idk
  8. so I'm listening to the interface with the mic all the way turned down and I get static noise while listening through windows but not in actual recordings. So i'm assuming that's a windows thing. The mic sounds fine besides the static noise through windows. I use a streaming pc when I stream and I send my mic to it using a plugin for obs called ndi. could it be a weird video compression thing? I and the interface is grounded. @wojtepanik

  10. I have an AT2020 Microphone https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT2020-Cardioid-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B0006H92QK/ref=sxin_2_ac_d_pm?ac_md=5-0-VW5kZXIgJDEwMA%3D%3D-ac_d_pm&keywords=at2020&pd_rd_i=B0006H92QK&pd_rd_r=b9cf67b2-8342-45e9-acf7-a08847066afb&pd_rd_w=pRvCx&pd_rd_wg=jtRxO&pf_rd_p=64aaff2e-3b89-4fee-a107-2469ecbc5733&pf_rd_r=0VBZ55D16B79AK9375EW&qid=1565259977&s=electronics and when I stream I will randomly get random hissing in my recordings usually when there is background noise but it also happens when there is not Clip of what it sounds like I really want to solve this issue, if you know any fix or have had this issue before please comment.
  11. Well I fixed my issue by copying the driver disk that came with the mother board onto a flash driver and just reinstalling all the drivers through that. I then had an issue where my cpu cooler lost its sync with aura sync and wouldn't connect so I deleted aura sync and just reinstalled it through the asus website. It works fine so far with no issues hope this helps someone else.
  12. I just built a new PC - https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ringhofer/saved/tfm27P - I'm using corsair's Icue software to control the fans and ram I was planning on using arua sync to control the cpu cooler and motherboard. When I started up the computer for the first time booted to my windows drive and got to the desktop the motherboard installed Armory Crate a software that allows all the drivers and such for the motherboard to be installed along with aura Sync. I updated the drives and such and when I got to aura sync the mother board and the cpu cooler wasn't being detected. I finished installing all the drivers and stuff and then uninstalled armory crate and was going to independently install aura sync from asus. I installed aura sync and the program wont even launch saying I need to have lighting service installed which was installed through the aura sync zip folder that they gave me. I installed and uninstalled the software multiple times with a variation of trouble shooting - Trouble Shooting- Resetting Cmos Turning Computer off Reinstalling Aura Sync (Multiple Times) Messing With aura sync default settings in bios The software still does not work the lighting cannot be controlled I cannot reinstall Armory Crate. If you have had this issue or know of a fix for this issue please help, I have this epic RGB PC but I'm really losing Computer Processing Performance since half the RGB isn't working.
  13. @Adsome2007 The power Brick is 230 watts
  14. @Adsome2007 This problem does exist in the game Rust but not to this extent. My temps do get hot in Rust unlike Minecraft where my temps are a lot cooler.
