    What a pointless video. I guess the kids ran riot, whilst Dad was away. This is why, Linus can't take a holiday, because the rest of the team cannot be trusted to produce good content. This video was complete crap.

    Are you sure about that... If you don't set it up right, it won't work at all. But set it up right, and it is a godsend. I'd have to use Asus AI Suite 3.0 otherwise, which is complete and utter crap!

    Nope. The two fans included are rubbish, and the stock cooling with just two exhausts is really poor. This is just bad advice. Ideally, you want two intakes at the front, then the two exhaust fans. But, replace them, as NZXT make some of the worst fans ever produced. FYI, I actually own the S340 Elite.

    Use 140s, not 120s, as they are much quieter. All fan positions in that case supports 140s, apart from the rear exhaust. So, ideally, you want two 140s at the front, one 140 at the top, and one 120 at the rear.

    According to LMG Luke, two (or three) in and two out, as you suggest that you are doing, is the best setup.

    ML's. The LL fans are pretty rubbish to be honest.

    The Corsair LL's are noisy. The ML fans are far better. Corsair fans do not connect to Motherboards, so yes you will need two Lighting Node Pros, to get the RGB functionality working properly. I believe one Lighting Node Pro handles six fans, so you'd only need two. You can buy the Lighting Node Pro, as a separate piece from Corsair direct. You don't need the commander pro by the way, it's just a pointless extra expense.

    At the RAM side, it DOES make a difference, why else do you think that is the default position. Wrong. Be Quiet, Noctua, Cryorig, etc, all say that you are wrong. A second fan is only ever added to the backside of the cooler, not the main fan.

    Having three fans as exhaust is pointless. Don't put two fans at the top, just one.

    What a weird setup! Move the bottom fan to the front, and move one of the top fans, to the rear. No idea, why she thought the current layout made sense. The bottom fan isn't even pointing at the GPU, so it's doing nothing.

    Only if it is not compatible. Just because your board isn't supported, doesn't mean that the OP's is.

    Actually, the reviews that I've seen, say the MLs are just as quiet as the Noctua's or the Be Quiet fans, so I think that you are wrong there. My ML fans are certainly quieter than the Noctus Redux fans that they replaced.

    LL's are four pin PWM controlled fans. If you just buy one fan, you will not get the necessary corsair controller (Lighting Node Pro), and therefore the LEDs will not function. You must buy the fan(s) with a controller.

    70C at idle is terrible, but at load, it's fine. I'm guessing that you are talking idle temps though. So, yes at idle 70C is really bad, and you definitely need to fit some case fans.

    Those extra heatsinks, should not have thermal pads underneath them. They are supposed to be applied with some sort of thermal adhesive, and NOT thermal pads. I'd say, you're just insulating the parts that are covered, they way you've done it. You also are going to have little airflow over the surface mounted components, because you're using a tower cooler and not a downdraft cooler. Not strictly helpful, but it also looks totally terrible!

    Yup, they are terrible coolers, despite what the so called "Tech press" have to say. I think they're all deaf to be honest. If you want something really cheap, get a Raijintek Aidos and a Noctua Redux 92mm fan to go with it. That combo is almost as good, thermally speaking, as my Cryorig Quad Lumi, which is a 120mm cooler.

    Corsair LL's aren't particularly good by the way. They look nice, but are quite loud and quite poor quality generally. The Corsair ML fans on the other hand are excellent. They don't look quite as good as the LL series (less LEDs), but they have a much nicer noise profile, and have good static pressure too.

    Incorrect. The stock fans are utter rubbish, so please don't spread falsehood. Yes, they work, but they are noisy as all hell, and generally just have poor specs. I wouldn't wish those fans on my worst enemy.

    No, it really is not, it's a terrible cooler. Throw it away and buy something half decent.
