Replacing the wipers on my brand new Jetta beca…

I have a 2019 Jetta and had the same exact problem with finding replacement wiper blades. It baffled me for a few weeks and I refused to pay $100 for the dealer replacement. What a stupid ass design...anyways, I went with rainx too as this was the only compatible brand I could find at a sane price. Love my car, hate some of the questionable VW engineering decisions...LOL
  4. Can you monitor your 3060 in task manager while you're playing vr games? That should tell you really quickly whether it's being used. Your cpu should have no problems, vr games typically are more gpu intensive anyways.
  5. I don't know if you have access to hp instant ink where you are, but it saves us about 40-50% in ink costs with a cheapo hp printer. Basically, you pay a set fee per month based on how many pages you want to be able to print. hp sends you 'free' cartridges whenever they are low to keep the printer working. If you don't reach the monthly limit, x number of pages roll over to the next month. We maybe print 10 pages a month and our cartdriges usually dry out due to lack of use. I believe we pay 99 cents a month for the service which translates to $12/year versus paying $21 a cartridge that would dry out in about 6 months. It's not for everyone, but estimate how many pages you print on average per month and look at how many cartridges you typically purchase per year. It may be a good investment. Printer companies don't make money on printers, their main revenue comes from overcharging for their ink.
  6. 'Free' money everybody! What could possibly go wrong?
  7. I don't see the harm as long as the cpu can be refunded. I doubt it would cause damage. Worst case scenario, it will be stuck in an infinite boot loop or it will not boot at all. Keep in mind though, core count means little when dealing with a very outdated cpu, so I wouldn't set expectations too high.
  8. I understand. I would upgrade to at least 8gb of RAM. That should give you a relatively competent school/note taking laptop. I really don't see any other compatible cpu of that era giving you a substantial performance boost that would be worth the money.
  9. My high school graduation gift was a tiger direct pc with an amd k6 2. It was state of the art back in 1998...LOL
  10. It's all good...this just shows my age...I remember the pentium 2 commercial with the goalie 'loading' LOL
  11. IMO, upgrading this laptop is a bit of a lost cause. Your gpu is also extremely outdated for any type of modern gaming. If you have the resources, I'd invest in a more modern system and maybe use this old laptop for plex streaming or as a retro gaming machine.
  12. You COULD probably overclock your 2200g and install a rx 580 or gtx 1060. That would probably get you by on minimum vr settings. However, your settings will be very limited in order to maintain 90hz. I ran a rx 570 with a modestly more powerful ryzen 5 2400g (4c, 8t) and vr was just okay. I really had to drop the settings down so I didn't feel sick playing vr titles. From my experience though, vr games are generally more heavily gpu dependent. I rarely saw my cpu usage maxed out (but I had 2x the threads of a 2200g) I'd try to find a ryzen 5 5600x, pair it with a gtx 3060 or a rx 6700, 16 gb of 3600 mhz ddr4 and call it a day.
  13. Now is a pretty bad time to buy unfortunately. If you're able, I'd wait until prices drop...I'm already seeing some pretty good deals on AMD CPU's. Maybe buy compatible parts as you see sales pop up?
  14. I never understood why companies include the Ryzen 'G' APU's along with a dedicated GPU.... Your system is more than adequate for gaming and almost every task a typical user would utilize it for. I'd just keep it as is for at least a few years or until it can't perform what you need it to. I'm still using a Ryzen 5 1600 af and RX 5700 (non xt) and have no reason to upgrade as it runs the games I want with little issue.
  15. I don't know if they still sell s20's but I've been pretty happy with it so far. Honestly, I'd get a phone that is ~1 year old, like last years model. They often offer deep discounts...IMO, new phones are way overpriced for the minimal added benefits.
  16. Very true, but I'm willing to bet over half of these 'macho' men in the survey would be too chicken sh** to do a single thing. I'll also go as far as to say, a large percentage of these actor/actresses have miserable marriages but try so very hard to overact when it comes to publicly displaying how 'happy' their relationships are.
  17. Hell, he even got a standing ovation from the audience. It was really sick.
  18. Hollywood also conveyed a powerful and disturbing message that assaulting others you may disagree with is perfectly okay in today's society. Let's be honest here, Will Smith isn't going to face any punishment for this shameful and childish display.
  19. Kirby pinball (I think that's what it was called) and kirby's dreamland for gameboy were my favorites as a kid.

I really loved star trek bridge crew vr...when you get the right teammates (crew)it can be uber fun (and hilarious)
  21. And Whoopi Goldberg is applauding the Film Association for not kicking Will out for literally assaulting another person. I honestly felt bad for Chris Rock...God, that stupid laugh afterwards but what else could he do... We are living in clown world.
  22. Notice how Will found the joke to be funny until Jada rolled her eyes and appeared to whisper something at him. Next thing you know, he's storming up on stage to commit assault. I will also mention that it is public knowledge that his wife...let's just say, she sees their marriage as an 'open relationship' Skit or not, it was tasteless and shameful. I get defending your wife, but this was a (rather weak) GI Jane joke that wasn't worth assulting another man over. I will say, Chris Rock kept his composure pretty well. He was the bigger man. And these are the people we should look up to? How far we have fallen.
