  1. I did! Thanks man, I'll look into CEX. Selling used GPU's ain't all that easy so yeah that could be helpful. And that looks pretty clean! thanks for the link + suggestion
  2. Physx is awesome. For £50 that's a great deal though, nicely done +Points for aesthetics... If it looks awesome, it is awesome!
  3. That's dead kind man, thanks sure thing I'll message you as and when, really appreciate that
  4. Hoping so! The monitors I'm looking at aren't super cheap so hopefully it'll help out. What've you upgraded your GPU to? yeah best of luck selling the 360 man
  5. DSR for now, until I've saved the pennies for a bigger monitor >
  6. Yeah I can imagine it being noisy with the reference cooler. I'm half considering a G10 as well, cause that sounds amazing! Highest you've got is 45 Plus it'd fit my white build B) Sounds like a perfect build right there though
  7. Not that I'm racist, but this is the best race I've been in for a while. Haha btw, how's your 980Ti with the Kraken G10? Did you notice a big improvement with temps after you installed it?
  8. Sure, it's just sitting in it's box right now, I haven't got any immediate plans for it. To be honest I'll probably sell it and put the cash towards the new monitor. I only had it for a few months, so it's still in great condition too so yeah I'll most likely sell it.
  9. If this were reddit I'd be giving you reddit gold right now
  10. Literally the first giveaway I've ever won after entering every giveaway I saw for yearssssss. But it was 10000% worth entering even given the tiny chance of success haha!
  11. Yeah the opinion seems to be divided between either Ultrawide 3440x1440 or 144Hz 1440p. Both are great options, it's a really tough choice  Old GPU was a Zotac GTX 970 Reference Cooler, so it was quite an upgrade!
  12. I LOVE that there's a .gif for this  But seriously eating silicone....... eagh
  13. Yeah most people seem to advise against going for 4k. Just as long as a single 980Ti will handle 3440x1440... which I hope it will... haha
  14. I'll sleep with one eye open... staring at the shiny new 980Ti... haha not weird at all! I'll be nerdgasming pretty hard if I get the Ultrawide B)
  15. Hi! So I won a PNY XLR8 GTX 980Ti OC from Nvidia's Christmas giveaway here in the UK, (with this post) which I'm still struggling to come to terms with, it's absolutely the craziest thing. But, my gaming setup still uses 1080p monitors (1x32in as main display and 1x22in as a secondary). So, I thought to do the new GPU justice, I should upgrade displays, cause using a 980Ti for 1080p feels like I'm using a Bugatti to drive down the street to the corner shop. I was thinking a 3440x1440 Ultrawide display like the LG 34UM95 or the curved variant, the 34UC97. Or should I go for a 4k monitor? Or just a less fancy 2560x1440/1600 monitor? What's your guys thoughts? Relevant System Specs: CPU: i5 4670k MBoard: Asus Z87 Sabertooth CPU Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40 RAM: 10GB DDR3 1600MHz GPU: well... the 980Ti PSU: Corsair RM650 Thanks in advance for any comments/input
  16. Really? Is it more stable than 353.06?
  17. Yeah I used the windows control panel utility. I'll try DriverSweeper/Revo Uninstaller then a fresh installation of the driver and see how that turns out. Thanks for the advice guys!
  18. I'm having issues with my new GTX 970. It's the reference card from Zotac, and it's just starting performing horribly all of a sudden, after about 3 days of use. Rest of the system is system is a 4690k @ stock, Z87 Sabertooth, 10GB DDR3 RAM, 840 EVO 250GB, WD Blue 1TB, and a Corsair RM850 PSU. GTAV and Far Cry 4 are 2 games that are noticeably degraded; Far Cry 4 runs at an average 30fps on Very Good settings (not even ultra) and GTA is about the same. I'm on the latest driver, 353.06, which I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. GPU Temps are about 70 degrees when gaming. I guess it's worth mentioning that I was also get a lot of the "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error, and tried the Microsoft Fix It 50848 wizard to solve that, if that could've made a difference. Help anyone? Thanks in advance!
  19. Both really solid cards, great job Zotac. The Extreme looks great. Love the massive shift in power efficiency we've seen with the 900 series too though, gg Nvidia!
  20. My favourite feature of the Z2 is the fact that it's waterproof. My favourite thing about dbrand is that skin; it's pretty gosh darn good.
  21. Favourite feature is definitely the IPS display. Dem viewing angles, mayne.
  22. Awesome. Thanks for the help guys.
  23. I'm looking for some good case fans with White LEDs. My case is the NZXT H440, so airflow is already somewhat diminished by the enclosure of the front and top panels with the restrictive vents. I guess it's also worth mentioning I use the 212 EVO for CPU cooling, so likewise in combination that, the quieter the case fans, the better. I know Airflow optimised fans are generally the best options for intake/exhaust on cases, but does that still apply with the H440 because of the aforementioned airflow restriction? Would Static Pressure optimised fans be a better option? Thanks in advance for any advice and/or reccomendations
  24. Bastion, man. That game was amazing. Soundtrack was 10/10 too.
  25. Agree with Shd0w2, really need some specifics as to a style of case and what sort of games. But for $1500 a system like this wouldn't look bad and would play games pretty nicely in 1080p resolution and perform very well overall; http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3FNrD Though if you can afford it; a GTX 780 would be a better option for a video card than the GTX 770 suggested in the link.
