    Seems pretty good looking at spec. That finger print reader on the side might be a bit iffy tho.

    Lets not forget 4k 30fps recording, actually pro level recording with codec and what not. True accurate color mode too.

    I'd probably say get the Sony Xperia 5 instead...unless you can get the Xperia 1 for a similar price.

    Yes, it "may" only be a 1080p display but from what I've seen, it's still a fantastic display, especially once you factor in how although it has a smaller battery, in endurance tests, it lasts a lot longer. It also has every single feature on the Xperia 1 with the exact same hardware (mins body, display and battery) so if it cheaper, there's almost no reason not to pick the 5 over the 1. 

     

    @DildorTheDecent My favourite android skin! Take it as someone who has used Sony phones for 7 years ;) 

    Granted, I may be a lil biased and very accustomed to the Sony rather stock skin with some very nice features on top.

     

    God, I miss my Z3C on android 4.4.4, before Sony's stamina mode was completely destroyed in Android 5.0 due to a certain company named google not certifying Sony devices unless they used Google's version of battery saving instead of their in-house developed version ?. Went from a full 2 day battery phone (it had a 2600mAh battery...) with moderate usage to just enough for one whole day with moderate usage...

    I need something by this weekend the battery on my Note 9 is totally shot since owning it from launch. Xperia 1 is available for pick up tomorrow while the 5 isn't till November 5th.

    Ah fair enough. I'm getting a Xperia 1 in parts as I have a friend that refurbs and repairs devices as his job, knew I was due for an upgrade so he offered me a Xpera 1 that he's been sitting on (has all the new parts required bought, has tested everything, just needs installing) for an excellent price of £150. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend ❤️
