  1. Starting to do F@H again ... heard about the covid-19 initiative.

  2. Rocinante AMD Phenom iix4 955BE 3.6GHz AMD Radeon R9 270 1125MHz Core 1500MHz Mem 8GB 1600MHz Kingston HyperX Black 0.7 (Not Ready)
  3. The files from that location should work fine. When you did the flashing, did you install both the .trx file and then the .bin file? Looking back, you mentioned that the ISP said the router should automatically pick up the settings. This would mean that the modem is handling the PPPoE authentication and not the router. I think you may have been doing things right from the start, using the automatic DHCP. It may just be that the firmware didnt take properly the first time. I would recommend doing a reflash of the entire thing again (both files with 30-30-30 reset as mentioned by techguru). If this doesn't work then your router has me baffled but I'll keep looking into it.
  4. In the "WAN connection type" section, try setting the connection type to PPPoE where it says Automatic configuration currently. If you have login credentials from the ISP, they will go in the username/password boxes. After that everything else should resolve automatically. This is if I understand the situation correctly.
  5. I have a router running DD-WRT. If you could post a screenshot of some of the important pages like the setup/basic setup and status/wan, I might be able to identify the problem.
  6. I hope not. I'm in the Charlotte area and that's the sole reason I've been avoiding AT&T. A change from 20Mb down & 2up to 50 Mb would be great, but screw it if they implement data caps.
  7. My main system which functions as both a server and occasional OCing experimentation rig usually doesnt go over 3 or 4 days (because of my fiddling around), but I've settled on some stable operation and it's currently sitting at 16 days, 4 hours. IMO that's decent for an aged system (some parts over 5+ yrs old). It spends most of its idle time folding, so it's always at work.
  8. I've seen 0x124 error codes before, but they were always from an OC'ing session. Are you running an overclock?
  9. I've also tried to unlock the voltage control on my card with no luck. AFAIK the only way of unlocking it is to flash the video bios ... I have no expertise in that area though.
  10. Try deleting the gpu slot then re-adding it so it starts over.
  11. If this is your only storage device, it's likely writing to the flash player buffer when this is happening. You could try moving the buffer location to another medium to confirm the drive is making the noise.
  12. They're on TGLiveCam_08 on twitch atm. Correction: TGLiveCam_16 is better.
  13. I believe this is the livestream link: http://game24.nvidia.com/event
  14. Found you guys back in January, while looking at build guides and random computer stuff on youtube. My intent was to put together a budget rig for college work and stuff, but I found a whole lot more. I felt the quality of the channel to be good enough that I wanted to get involved. Finally took the plunge in March. Also, it's because I found this channel that the computer I'm writing this on is functional. LTT is the first forum I've joined, and so far the best I've seen in regards to interactions. I think almost everything has gotten noticeably better over time since I started watching, ... the build guides and the WAN show being my top picks. I appreciate the level of content you guys produce and I hope to hang around for a while more.
  15. Very nice post! I've been waiting to see graphene stuff be developed for quite a while.
