hey there, im trying to play the game"Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun" but the controls do not work for me in the steam deck. when the game loads there is a screen that says "press any key to start" I click A or B or something and it works and after that, all the buttons in the game do nothing no matter what I do. and I have to use the touch screen to exit the game. I tried everything I could think of from changing proton versions to controller inputs to reinstalling the game 3+ times. the game is verified so I don't know what to do anymore. i contacted valve just to see if they can help my because the game is verified but after some suggestions from them do they tried the problem seems to stay... things i tried: update steam deck. reinstall the game. verify the games files. Check whether im experiencing similar issues with other games(no). changing the proton version to everything from normal to experimental to proton GE to no proton at all. opt into the game beta. delete proton files and redownload them. clear selected controller layout. and more................ please help im going crazy seeing the game work perfect for everyone on YouTube thanks in advance!

reinstalling seems to have fixed it tnx! that was an odd bug ty !!

no luck with the shelf still 79 only. and it happened recently im not sure when but in the last month or so for sure. i did not play with the settings but ill try to reinstall now.

looks normal to me too but still 450 games don't show up

not as far as i know i added a pic it said it doesn't show 3 games because of a filters but i don't have any set (pic added)

I have 534 games but only 79 are showing up. when I search for a game that is not there I can find it but I can't see all of them in 1 go or in collections. (pictures attached as reference) I checked all my settings and all of them in order as far as i can tell + hidden games in the view menu check that and it's empty. how do I fix it? tnx for the help

We run Memtest86 and it got 2 pass results, just to be safe i'll have her try a different RAM sticks from a friend and see if that fixes the problem ill keep you posted. Tnx!

She is running bios version F2a and whatever chipset driver windows installed automatically after the clean install, she never updated it

Hey guys, my friend from the big North (Canada) and she has a problem with her computer that we can't seem to figure out. I tried to help her as well as some other friends but she's still having issues so I thought I would reach out here and see if I can get some other opinions. Her PC Specs: - AMD Ryzen:tm: 5 3600 Processor - Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro Ax - AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT - T-Force Delta DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 - Seagate Firecuda 1TB 2.5" & WD Black 500gb M.2 - Windows 10 Pro - Case: Inwin A1 Plus Pink with built in 650w 80+ gold PSU The Problem: "A few weeks ago I updated my GPU driver and then installed Fortnite & I have been having problems ever since. Initially after 2-3 games in a row, my screens would freeze and then start to artifact which would make me force shut down. I uninstalled the drivers using DDU in safe mode and reinstalled a newer version. That seemed to be the last of the artifacting. But then after playing more rounds of Fortnite (and other games), my PC would lock up and I would have to force reboot. I did a clean install of windows, but now even when I'm just watching a stream or browsing the internet, my main monitor will go black and my 2nd monitor will freeze for about 2 minutes before shutting off, but I can still hear the video/game in the background, and my friends can still hear me if I'm in a call with them. Yesterday, I swapped GPUs with a friend (he gave me his 5700 xt) but just today my pc crashed 3 times when I was using Adobe Lightroom, and he has had no issues with my GPU in his PC. Weirdly enough this last time crashed, my main monitor went black but I could still use my PC on my second monitor, it was just really laggy. I've monitored the temps the past few weeks and they have always been stable. i also got the BSOD prior to reinstalling Windows when I was just browsing the internet, which gave me the stop code: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA" This is what we've had her do (to no avail): - DDU in safe mode and updating to newest drivers/or multiple versions of older drivers that were stable - Stress tests for CPU/GPU for 45-60 mins each (FurMark and Unigine Heaven) - 2 pass memtest for RAM & windows memory diagnostic for RAM - no errors were found - moving games from HDD to the SSD and testing to see if it's a problem with the hard drive, but the PC would still crash - complete fresh install of Windows - cleaned PC - reseated GPU - completely disconnected HDD from the system and checked if that was the source, but the PC would still crash - Tried disabling XMP - Repaired system files using SFC & DISM

i use it out side my house only on my phone but i gave access to my siblings and a few friends and they don't live with me .... as for the 390X i dont think it will work well after everything you guys told me but maybe ill test it if i can to make sure thx for the help and if you have any tips ill love them!

i have plex pass life time and have the hardware acceleration and hardware-accelerated video encoding turned on in the settings for a long time now . for how many streams its about 1-3 in the house and 3-4 (some times more some times less) out side the home network (that wanna use it at the same time obviously they can't at the moment because the server isn't powerful enough.

i have a lot of usage in the night of the server and it can't hold all its client asking for resources of the system ... long story short i have to upgrade it no matter what the question is do i buy an expensive GPU (because of the times) probably used one that i get from someone idk or do i use this one? if this GPU ( AMD Radeon™ R9 390X ) is not comparable or useful ( meaning my CPU will do better or similar work {not marginally better}) or will get me to pull my hair out, i won't use it. but if its good and will work good even if not perfect in this sense of consumption. i wanna know so i waste my money D:
