  1. I would upgrade the PSU. Your current PSU is on the :AVOID Tier list and you dont want to risk your new components with this PSU.
  2. The 5600x will be a nice bump over the 3500 Still a good CPU in 2024! And I have recommended the MSI MAG A650BN multiple times, its good for its price.
  3. 6000 CL30 is the sweetspot for RAM for AM5 systems. 5200mhz CL40 is incredibly slow. Absolutely not recommended.
  4. Absolutely! This will be plenty fast for 1440p gaming Nice to see a fellow Norwegian!
  5. The GPU should have a fan stop function so that the fans don't spin below 60 or 65c. And the GPU fans shouldn't be too audible at 30% when gaming. I can barely hear my RTX 4080's fans at 30%, I really got to focus on it. The case is on my desk right next to me. Well, at least you know that 65c at 30% fanspeed for your CPU is safe You can even lower the CPU fanspeed more if you want. Anything under 85c is completely safe for 24/7 operation.
  6. Have you tried setting a manual fan curve in MSI Afterburner? I think 30% is the lowest setting. Its that 1300 RPM on your card?
  7. 30% fan speed is very low. Worrying about the fan bearings at 30% is not needed at all.
  8. That is completely fine 65c is well within safe temperature limits for any CPU. 65c is good temperature when gaming! Completely safe and it will not cause ANY damage to the CPU at all. I run my own CPU Coolers fanspeed at 27% as well because I am very sensitive to noise.
  9. Remove the CMOS battery for 5 minutes, put it back in and try again.
  10. I can recommend the MSI MPG A750GF. It comes with a 10 year warranty as well https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/nFkWGX/msi-mpg-a750gf-white-750-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-mpg-a750gf-white Here is a list of white PSU's in the UK. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/power-supply/#Y=8200000&sort=price&page=1
  11. PSU's can also have slight coilwhine. My own RM750i has coilwhine as well. Do you use an AIO that could maybe cause this sound?
  12. If your GPU is having coilwhine then there isn't anything you can do about it. Coilwhine is not dangerous or harmful in any way and does not affect the lifespan of the product. Coilwhine is safe but it is annoying.
  13. I like 'revo uninstaller' I dont know if it will do what you want though.
  14. What was your previous PSU? Using old PSU cables with a new PSU is absolutely not recommended.
  15. can you record the sound? Sounds like a fan bearing going bad.
