  1. The Ryzen 5 3600G should be released in July at $199 MSRP (Could be higher). That is with higher clock speeds and 18 threads so it could end up being a much better deal. Considering that July is only 4 months away, I'd say wait. Especially if you're goal is to stream and game with decent performance and viewer experience. I don't build PC's for a living or hobby though, so take that with a grain of salt or even follow someone else if they say otherwise.
  2. The main difference here is that the Ryzen 7 has 8 cores and 16 threads. These days that's enough to game and stream from the same computer without having either suffer in quality. I could be wrong, but that's what I was able to abstract from my research. The 2600 is definitely faster, and will probably have better gaming performance, but the 1700 will have better streams without affecting the game as much.
  3. I will be working from home using Citrix VM so a new i5 processor was required. I am hoping that this build will get me through my computer science degree. Is an H55 57 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler good enough for a 95w TDP CPU? Currently I hit 12 gb of RAM in day to day work loads. Between school, work, and website development I typically have a lot going on.
  4. I know that this thread is very old with the last comment being 6 months ago! But I've always wanted to do a build in the SG13B. So I've got my parts on the way and will be sure to update everyone on the progress. Here's my pcpartpicker.com list! I know it's not an ideal build but I'm open to suggestions for future improvements
