  1. Yes would be easier to drive than the 702 as well
  2. For your budget I would.go for the Beyerdynamic tygr easy to power great for gaming and the sound signature does well with rock and older styles of music. Previously mentioned akg k612 and 702 are also good options buth both can be flat and boring.
  3. So I this case based on what @Spuriae has so astutely stated. You do end up losing out on some lower impedance cans. dt 900x:surely an option a little over priced for the sound imo, but you get great build quality and repairability with Beyerdynamic as they offer great customer support and sell replacement parts directly to customers. Sundara: imo worth the build concerns such a great sounding headphone especially as someone who owns their favorite amp to run these off of. But since these are expensive and peace of mind is often not worth spending less on. Sundaram also imo is not a great fit for your taste. I personally don't like hifiman house sound for those particular genres. While hifiman headphones excel at presenting drums and guitars where they suffer is forgiving bad production. Production on a lot of punk can be abrasive and aggressive for effect. Hip hop also likes a bit more bass than hifiman provides. It's not that hifiman lacks bass but the type of bass it provides can be Abit too flat and lacking in dynamics a quick headpad change could fix this.hip hop also has a issue with sibilance songs with a lot of S sounds can be very forward on a hifiman from my experience with both my own set and my time with a Sundara. But doesn't change their unforgiving nature hifimans definitely appreciate good production. MM100- I may be favoring this pick for you. I haven't tried it. Nor has anyone but it's set to release sometime in June so if your in no rush wait for these. Audeze house sound will fit your preferences better imo. They lean darker than hifiman meaning the treble will be more forgiving this while being detailed is easier to tolerate badly produced tracks l. Sibilance wont be as bothersome. And they know how to do good open back bass so hip hop will also sound great.
  4. What music do you listen to? What is your general use case how much tmdo you prioritize gaming and music? What are you going to run these off?
  5. So it sorta depends on your taste and preferences in regards to sound quality. It can certainly be done and for gaming you can buy a pair of koss ksc 75 for $20 and be solved but for everything if you like the sound quality ,features , and frequency response why not use as your only headphone I've certainly daily drove worse and was very happy. You just need to be comfortable with it caveats.
  6. How do you have the headsets plugged into your PC?
  7. Yes this would be a better more reliable setup. Hmmm this should be theoretically working. But even I've had personal problems with these guys before. If you can return them I would and try to find something else. The headphone itself works fine with the motherboard audio right?
  8. the link to the product page only takes us to the green main website mind sharing just a picture of the device? Or a fixing the link?
  9. Yes it should be fine to run out of a Scarlett
  10. Yeah that's how I feel it felt weird reccomend the umc 22 as well cause a quality interface will just be better later than buying a cheap one now. Though I may have to back you on the akg mic reccomendations I definitely prefer both of these mics than the ones I went with for the XLR part of my comment.
  11. My bad my guy just kinda saw a bunch of blue yeti reccs. A mic in its own respect kinda bad these days. And when I see 2020 my brain automatically thinks the USB version due to that thing's popularity
  12. So gonna go against everyone recommending condensers and reccomend dynamics. Since everyone is recommending USB mics anyway I would go for https://mikrofon.arukereso.hu/audio-technica/atr-2100x-usb-p549879414/ The price on this audio Technica mic is a bit overpriced but there seems to be a price hike in this mic over the past year. This mic is both USB and XLR. So you can run it at USB for now and later make it sound even better using a interface.use the rest of your budget now on a cheap mic stand. A generic mic stand will do you wonders. If you want a setup with a interface now this interface combined with a cheap mic l https://www.arukereso.hu/hangkartya-c3140/behringer/umc22-p564385104/#velemenyek Mic's https://mikrofon.arukereso.hu/superlux/prad1-p349406629/ https://mikrofon.arukereso.hu/behringer/ultravoice-xm-8500-p35824702/# Edit: if you go the interface route please refer to @GOTSpectrum's reccomendations with either akg mics. If you don't treat your room condensers sound bad. You an use AI noise suppression to make yourself sound better or not have to worry about it and just use a dynamic mic.
  13. Oops with jbl Ieam to reccomend the live pro 2 I tend to get my JBL products confused for some reason same thing happens with their speakers.
  14. ok the thing with iphone is they tend to work best with apple products not that other brands will work badly with them i would just avoid Samsung as they rent very reliable on IOS. which sucks cause I would reccomend samsung for this price range. of the two you mentioned I wouldn't get either in all honesty but if those were my only choices I would go with LG. just purely out of the reviews and measurements I'm seeing only they just provide a seemingly decent tonality even with all the flaws. in this price range I would look for apple earpods pro 1st gen there should be some on sale or clearance if you shop around. not only do they sound pretty good they are honestly just the best things to have with apple products. alternatives are a previously mentioned jbl tour pro + they should also be hitting that clearance section. and my other favorite closest to samsung you can get is https://www.akg.com/Headphones/Earbuds/N400NCTWS-.html they are owned by samsung but seemingly more stable on ios than Samsung buds are. the akg is my top pick after just getting earpods pros.
  15. I don't really like these keyboard but fits all your requirements. The steel series apex 3 has rgb , and media keys. Shouls be slightly shorter than that Compaq keyboard. Another option maybe the rk96 if you want a truly smaller layout.
  16. what is your budget? also the cloud 2s are very well built how did you manage to break the yoke on those?
  17. heyman please write a post in the peripherals https://linustechtips.com/forum/44-peripherals/ if you need help with this keyboard problem
  18. Not really anything worth the cash to improve it especially since your going through USB already. If I were to do anything in regards to actually improving sound I would just get a better headphone. That's honestly the most cost effective way of improving sound.
  19. What I consider budget is very different from what you may consider budget so what price range are you willing to spend?
  20. Often when they ask you to destroy a product they often want proof either a video or a picture of you destroying the product before sending you the replacement. This is what I've seen and done in the figure/statue hobby. Again razer even though their color is green does not care about the environment.regardless of what they say if they did they wouldn't be making their products that is waste out of the factory. Jokes aside . If you dont like it don't buy their products easy as that. But something more sustainable something easier to fix on your own plenty of products especially in headphones that do just that.
  21. This happens a This happens a lot in other industries such as hobby statues.they ask you to destroy them to prevent reselling. It's most likely not worth refurbishing the products and reselling due to the man hours it takes to actually diagnose and address the issues. It's cheaper to take the specific unit out of circulation. Almost all companies are about maximizing profit and refurbishing is probably less profitable than just getting them to destroy it.
  22. Have you tried using rtx voice for your problem? Otherwise one of my favorite reccomendations for comfortable closed back is the takstar pro 82/ cooler master mh 751 very comfortable closed backs same headphone the cooler master one is just a mic slapped on to it that you can just remove.
  23. its an alternative. if they have the sonys they may have the bose for you to try out as well.
  24. This exactly. Sony's are rather easy to find so if you can find a electronics store where you live to just put them on that's the best idea you can get see if you feel pressure or pinch points and know those get worse over time for longer wear times. Also a good opportunity to try other headphones out.
