  1. Update: changed tubing to clear and added blood red concentrate.
  2. Well, ran into a stressful snag... It wouldn't boot last night, and after troubleshooting everything I took it all out to repeat the cpu. Upon removal I noticed one single pin on the socket had bent. I carefully repositioned it, but now that I've got it all taken apart again I'm going to pick up clear tubing and do a colored fluid. Do you guys recommend pre mixed or a concentrate? What brand?
  3. It's black the flash makes it look that way
  4. I hate when people make sense [emoji52]
  5. I see what you mean, I wanted to do use a colored tubing so I won't have to mess with dyes if I ever want to change the color of my build. Live and learn I also noticed the flash makes it appear further off than it really is
  6. Hey guys, Piecing together the end of my watercooled build. I don't have a ton of pics to show off just yet, I forgot to order biocide so I'm at a stopping point right now until I get that. [emoji20] Specs are: 4690k with ek-supremacy mx block 980ti with ek-fc titan x waterblock 140mm ek-xres ddc pump/res combo Primoflex lrt bloodshed red tubing XSPC rx240 rad XSPC black chrome 3/8" 5/8" fittings Noctua nf-f12 fans 16gb corsair ram Gigabyte z97mx gaming 5 This is my first water build, and I wanted it to be a little challenging so I picked a pretty small case. After some careful measuring I managed to fit the entire system in the front and I think it's laid out pretty nice. Res mounted, planning the runs. I didn't want to spend the extra money on angled fittings. Tight fit in here Tubing installed, pretty proud of my runs... Side panel installed. The benefit of noctuas without the aesthetic. [emoji1] What do you think? Better photos to come once it's up and running
  7. The computer itself is less than 6 months old, but the drive has been in several computers. I think I'll get 1 drive for now for a scheduled backup like you mentioned, and then when the original completely dies i'll replace it with a red. Thanks!
  8. Hi everyone, I use a lenobo business class tower I got for free as a media server at home. I have a 250gb boot drive, and a 2tb drive for my movies/tv that get served throughout the house and to family elsewhere via Plex. I got home today and noticed that the media drive was missing. I got home and after some tear down and reassembly miraculously it showed up again however I'm worried it's not going to last much longer. I have about 100 movies and maybe 50 complete shows, so I want to avoid losing this. What would be my best solution? My thought was to get 2 4TB red drives, and have one backup the other or be a clone in a raid setup, but did some reading that raid isn't good to use for this setup? What would be my best option to have some periodic backup of one drive that is left on and used pretty frequently 24/7. thanks in advance!
  9. I love mine. Great battery life, and using a third party app like yanc will let you get any notification you want sent to the watch. I'm using the android L preview on my nexus 5 and a new feature allows you to add trusted Bluetooth devices to bypass the screen pin. So when I'm wearing my watch I don't have to key in my pin or security info but if I leave my phone or walk away from it people can't get into my phone. Pretty cool.
  10. I have been wanting to give a Sony Xperia Z2 a shot but they're impossible to get in the US so far. I usually skin my phone in orange too, so naturally the Dbrand skin looks perfect for me! I hope to win!
  11. My favorite thing is the build quality. I had the m7 and switched to the note 3, and I miss how solid the phone felt. The m8 that I held in store felt so nice.
