+1 on this, look for some of the cheaper LG OLED models (A series, B series etc). Whilst the C2 might be the best bang for buck right now, if it's out of your budget the B2 isn't a huge downgrade, and the A2 not a huge downgrade from that. There's also the option of going refurbished for older models, such as the A, B, or C9/X though it all depends on how cheap you can find them

hm, well the most important thing now is to get your old CPU working i think, have you tried any troubleshooting steps? also see what one beep means in your motherboard manual, that might help narrow down the issue

assuming all the parts are compatible, put in your old cpu and try updating chipset drivers. if that doesn't work, check basic things such as RAM seating and cooler pressure. You could also try clearing the CMOS by taking out the battery for about 30 seconds and reseating it

I reckon the line between console and PC gaming will become more blurred as hardware gets more powerful. Maybe more cross platform games? I also think VR will become more prevalent (at least I hope it does lol).
