    Just a word of caution - unrelated to your issue - make sure your window's product key (I assume that's the OS you use) get's transferred with your device. The motherboard retains that information and it is difficult to retrieve it if you have already changed boards. I believe you can link a key to a Microsoft account and transfer it from board to board. I've seen too many people overlook this and it can be frustrating to use an unlicensed copy of Windows.     I would personally go with the Note 8 as battery and productivity for me are key selling points. You can't really go wrong with either device, but I think it's really a matter of what you're going to be using it for. Again, they're both great phones, but my vote is on the Note. [That rhymed ]

    This isn't a bad phone, but I am unsure of carrier options associated with the device. An alternative might be something from Huawei, like the P20 Lite. I'm no expert, but I have heard great things about these phones.

    I have an RX 460 running on all low settings with Textures down and I get roughly 50-55 frames. I would recommend more vRam than 2gb but you may be able to pull it off. If it were me I wouldn't suggest it, but I don't think it would hurt to give it a shot.

    I have had zero issues from my PSU after switching over to EVGA. I'm running a 650W Gold Certified unit and it runs great. I've had trouble with smaller brands in the past and decided to shell out for a decent PSU for a change. In regards to if they're better than Thermaltake units might be up to personal preference more than actual specs. All I can say is that EVGA makes a solid brick and I can't complain in the least.
