  1. None taken..i suffer from Maximus extrememus ! Its a sickness where i need to have the best of the best ! And now this monitor seems to tick all the marks compared to the other potato monitors that has broken firmware or are 50" or is from a poorly unknown brand... Again extremus maximus is not fun to have...
  2. Its realy great to see some respond on my post but i have realy no clue what you all speak about with ur 90 % and 2020 or hubba jubs !
  3. Thats the wrong model you look at..the new one is called Swift and not strix like you refer to...Look here https://rog.asus.com/dk/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-swift-pg27uqr-model/spec/ For me this one still looks like the best option. if i was about to look at a 322 then what exactly model would you suggest me as thé bést monitor ?
  4. No thx on Oleds and 60 hz. I dont want blurry text or low hz rates..then i rather keep my old 60 hz samsung 27"... So far this seems to win with 600 hdr. But i cant find any stores in denmark EU that has it. https://rog.asus.com/dk/compareresult?productline=monitors&webpathname=ROG-Swift-PG27UQR,ROG-Strix-XG27UQR&id=218937,136201 The new model dosent show if t is 10 bit but the old version shows it has 10 bit Do anyone know why ?
  5. Finaly some good input to work with So im gona look for a 600 hdr at least you say. Thx for that heads up. with this i can narrow down the models. But i still find 32" to big since i dont like to look around in every corner of the screen to find what i look for. So what monitor would you suggest me for a 27" 600 hrd ?
  6. Well i have seen all these models, so there are still 27" and some of em are even new. So i dont think 27" 4k is moving away. SInce 27' is popular. Also i dont see if the gp27u is 10 bit anywhere but it does looks nice
  7. Did Linus take this forum with him also ?
  8. I have been looking on 4k monitors and found this https://rog.asus.com/dk/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-swift-pg27uqr-model/spec/ Its IPS since ther new oled model has this bad uniformity going on with text being blurry but gaming is crisp, so its bacicly a Gaming only monitor. https://rog.asus.com/articles/gaming-monitors/rog-swift-oled-pg27aqdm-intro/ So thats why i found the ROG Swift PG27UQR. But i cant find it for sale anywhere in Denmark. Havent it been released in EU yet ?¿ Then i also found this model https://www.samsung.com/dk/monitors/gaming/odyssey-g70b-g7-28-inch-ips-144hz-1ms-uhd-4k-ls28bg700epxen/ But it only has HDR(High Dynamic Range) VESA DisplayHDR 400 Where the one from asus has 600. Also im in doubt it has HDR 10+ Then there are these from LG https://www.lg.com/us/compare?bizType=B2C And what do Acer has to offer It gets confusing with all thee model numbers since they change due to where you live. Then there are the nits and bits and cd2 All i want is: Hdmi 2.1 Hz 120 at least 27-28" 600 Nits HDR 10+ Tilt and adjustable high stand. Best of the best and price dosent matter
  9. I got a ROG Maximus extreme XIII board with a I9 11900k cpu anda 3080 ti gpu with 3 M.2 installed in to the motherboard using its 3 M.2 sockets. This results in my card running 8x rather than 16 x. Its not much in performance fps i loose or gain in compare for now. But for a future upgrade with a 4090 card then i wonder if i loose performance with a pcie 8 x gen 4 that should be the same as a 16x gen 3 that still holds up. I need to mention for now i only have a 1080p 60 hz monitor but i plan on byuing a 2 k or 4 k when the future shows a perfection in monitors like OLEDS. A 4 k Oled 27 2 would be nice. Here are some sheets from my manual
  10. Thanks for clearing it up When i look on my manual then it only seems like i can install 1 m.2 but if i install 2 m.2 then i drop to pcie 4.0 x8 It would be nice to know if i can change that 2x by default to 4x tho in the dimm slot
  11. Im confused... I got a 3080 ti auros gigabyte gpu installed with a gen 4 cable and vertical bracket. So its gen 4 allright. Now i got this motherboard ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII EXTREME - Z590 - LGA1200 and im using all 3 m.2 slots. In the manual it states that using all 3 m.2 slots will decrease or somehow impact the gen 4 pcie. So it runs 8x rather then 16x pcie https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1200/ROG_MAXIMUS_XIII_EXTREME/E17684_ROG_MAXIMUS_XIII_EXTREME_UM_WEB.pdf But as i understand it now then my current card dosent use the max speed of the gen 4 anyway. So the question is: Do i loose some of the speed or bandwidth when i install a 4090 gpu cuz im using all 3 m.2 slots ? Or wont a 4090 card benefit me anything regarding the pcie 8x over the 16x? Also there is this Dimm 2 bracket for my motherboard where i can install 2 m.2 drives. But then the manual states this: DIMM.2_1 slot (Key M) via ROG DIMM.2, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 (supports PCIe 3.0 x4 & SATA modes) DIMM.2_2 slot (Key M) via ROG DIMM.2, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 (supports PCIe 3.0 x4 mode) DIMM.2_2 shares bandwidth with SATA6G_34 and DIMM.2_2 is default set at x2 mode. So if i install both m.2 drives on that dimm bracket. Do one of the drives only run at 2 x speed while the other runs 4 x speed ? I dont get it...How do install 3 m.2 drives on my motherboard without loosing performance regarding pcie x 16 and x 8 or is it impossible to maintain the 16 x with 3x m.2 drives ?
  12. Armory seems to work fine on my pc but i guess ur right..it want to tak eover everything and not allow any other software run RGB. So for now i cant control my gpu rgb...Also if i install fusion from gigabyte then i prolly wont be able to control my motherboard rgb or led strips...
  13. I got a 3080 ti Gigabyte Auros extreme card with a Asus maximus extreme XIII ( yes i like extreme) I have installed Armoury crate as default for my motherboard but cant controle the leds on my gpu in that tool. So i installed RGB fusion 2,0 and it dosent work at all. It looks like this...is that cuz i have armory crate installed ?
  14. Im working on that now but thx for ur info
