Tomothy's Achievements

  1. If I win this, it will give me the excuse I need to upgrade from my i7 950
  2. I have a 320gb that is 6 years old and used for everything from a boot drive, external and so on. Its my main drive for my HTPC right now and going strong. Never had a problem with it.
  3. Get some fans in there or look into another case. Sound like a lack of air flow
  4. For the amount of commotion they were making about it, I was quite underwhelmed by the result. Don't get me wrong, its a power house of a card. I just expected more from all the hype
  5. 600 watts is perfectly fine and will likely give you much better efficiency under load that higher wattage psu's
  6. Linus did an overclocking tutorial for socket 1366 when it first came out ( ) Basically you just want to boost your base clock a little bit at a time. Base clock multiplied with your multiplier gives you your cpu frequency. Google around. It's not hard, but you should know what your doing otherwise you might overdo it.
