  1. make sure your cpu fan connector is connected to cpu fan slot in motherboard. If that doesn't help, remove new ram, put old one back in and see if that helps
  2. Check if you have some windows updates that fail to install.. i think you can see them from setup (controlpanel) -> updates and security -> logs or something similar.. if windows tries to install same update everytime you boot it would explain the 10min start up. Also if you have several antivirus/firewall programs running, they can block each other because both try to be the first program to start, meaning long start up time.. i had this thing happening in windows xp, but i guess it can still happen in 10 And goto taskmanager and disable everything unnecessary from starting, like printer software, torrent software and stuff... things you can start up if you need them.
  3. If you do buy that, make sure that the recever/sender dongle on your computer is also dual channel, and then make sure it uses 5Ghz instead of 2.4Ghz. The difference is that 2.4Ghz doesn't pass trough concrete, and 5Ghz does... my router is in next room ~10m away with concrete wall in between, and 2.4Ghz is unusable at gaming due ¿packet loss? but 5Ghz works just fine... But like Johnn said, you might still need repeater/signal booster since wifi cover area is something like 50 meters? (this number was pulled from my magic rabbit hat, and thus might be incorrect)
  4. I think that battery case has 2200Mah battery (this was harder to find than it should, almost if they don't wanna say it) and the nokia has 2900Mah battery + comes with rest of the phone.. But i would not buy the nokia phone... i would sell the iphone, ipad, imac, then would buy Oneplus 6t phone, lenovo laptop and pay my children's collage fees. Then i would run out of the house wearing nothing but socs while screaming "DOBBY IS FREE" at the top of my lungs.. But thats just me... i would still keep the original ipod though...
  5. One thing that can cause "feels laggy" feelings, is your (wireless) mouse. so if you are using wireless mouse, goto desktop and move mouse around fast and see if it stops/skips/ can't stay up to speed... i had this with my $100 cordless mouse, and i fixed the problem by buying 25$ corded mouse. Oh and game that runs between 60-###fps can feel more laggy than game that runs steady 60fps, so you could try capping the framerate at 60? i had to do this on borderlands 2 (i think?) because the game made me feel sick without it
  6. I'm running Asus rx480 (dual fan or sumthing like that) which is the same card (about) as rx580, and i have UNDERclocked my GPU for 50mhz, while keeping the gpu voltage on default level. This improved stability alot, and oddly enough i think it runs faster... I also modified the fan spinup curves, at default fan is at 50% at 85'c and 100% at 99'c, i changed thous to be 50% at 60'C and 100% at 80'c Who ever manufactured your card probly has software that you can use to make similar change's. i hope this helps.
  7. 8/10 times i have had beebing in my comp, the culprit has been (cpu) fan speed monitor. So try to check if it gives reasonable readings (not 0 rpm or 11 155678 rpm) and/or disable them. the 2 other times it was due overheating, long beeb and my comp shut down. one of them was just false reading, and the another was wrongly assambled cooler thing.( when i opened my case, the cooler was on the floor of the case... what do you mean by "heatsink should not be fastened with rubberbands and cable ties"?)
