Hello,
I work at a medium-sized financial institution with around 550 employees. I am a network technician in our IT department at that company. We are very integrated with Microsoft Azure products and about 95% of our clients are either Windows machines or thin clients connected to Windows VDI servers. The rest of the clients are MacOS users mainly in our Marketing Department. (there are a few for IT for either Software Development or testing our website (don't need to worry about those machines)). How can we, as an IT Department convince the marketing department to switch to Windows machines? Even our CIO is struggling to convince them. Are we going into a losing battle here?
I watched the video and I agree with Louis. If amazon was honest and said, "We don't agree with your Opinions" then it wouldn't have been as bad. Them lying about the reasoning that the banned him was idiotic.
In my opinion, the Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmiiprx 27" is actually a really good bang for your buck. Its 1440p, 170 hz, G Sync compatible, IPS and is pretty color accurate for gaming. On amazon, its about $250 USD. https://a.co/d/1Vp4UGX
Update, I was able to run Linux Lite on a USB stick and ran OpenRGB on it to disable the board and ram RGB. The graphics card that I had on it wasn't detected but I will just unplug the RGB plug on the Card.
Hello!
I was wondering how to turn off the RGB of my NAS. It's running an MSI B550M Pro-vdh and I haven't found an option in the BIOS. I am using TrueNAS Scale so if there is an app that I can use, how do I install it as well?
I think of this as a layer of redundancy. I live in a place where internet coverage is not everywhere. FM and AM radio are still able to cover those areas where Wifi, Cell Phone, and even Fiber are not available: i.e. Camping in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. Plus, AM and FM receivers are cheap to implement.
Hello All!
I want some second opinions on this. I have a Ryzen 9 5900x and a Noctua NH-D15. I was running a stability Cinebench run on it and noticed that the temperatures across each core have a 15+ degree C difference between each core. Running stock options in BIOS so not overclocked. Could this be due to mounting pressure or poor thermal paste application?
I am excited for Oppenheimer that is coming out this year! What should I do to prepare for the film: watch other films, get familiar with the history, etc.?
