  1. i like the old PC specs too, when did u get that one?
  2. CPUs, RAM, GPUs, have a clock speed based on how much voltage they will consume. now if you increase the clock cycles and voltages to run at higher speeds, thats considered Overclocking. i said that in simple terms, there are people/websites for explain this in detail with pictures.
  3. i have pcie 3.0 system and i got a 4060ti just last week. no issues what so ever
  4. i saw the link, it was posted on on Aug 24th, 2021, Surely its outdated right?
  5. ive tried HDMI cables and it just stops the issue, but then i dont get 144hertz on HDMI tho right?
  6. my concern was since im running RTX 4060ti on a 3.0 system, and the 4060 ti has PCIEx8 im probably running with a speed of PCIE x4?
  7. i check the stability, nothing caused issues in last 2 months. Yes, before it was Corsair 8x2 3000 mhz CL16 now its Corsair 16x2 3200 CL16
  8. so XMP doesnt turn on. option is there but its locked, cant turn it on or off. i tried to match my old RAM setting and it was an annoying process cuz if i mess up, it wont boot and i have to bios reset by removing mobo battery. so set it to 3000 at 1.2 like my old ram from same brand, just 8Gb sticks instead of 16 sticks.
  9. ive already done rewiring of whole appartment, and my PC phase line is separate from everything else on its own MiniCB, Common Earthing and Common Neutral wires
  10. it happens only on 2 fan switches and a poweroutlet. was thinking of getting an UPS as well, used to have one in past but i cant remember if it fixed the issue in past
  11. thats why i was thinking ill get a B550 Mobo for now and put everything in that, but as Ronothan said, it wont make much difference, then i rather save money.
  12. slow to post ever since i put new ram and clocked it to run at 3000 mhz with 1.2 volts, which was running at 2133 before cuz XMP doesnt work like it should. if i reset to default, it boots fast, rn it takes 10+ seconds to boot
  13. Hi, so ive had this issue for ever since i got this PC in 2019 There are Ceiling fans in every room of the apartment, but when my room and the dining hall (right next room) Fan's are turned on/off or change speed with regulator, the monitor on my PC, will turn on and off for a second. i bought a new monitor in 2022, thinking it was my monitor having issues, But issue still stayed. i tested all games i had (not many) and i dont get issues ever, in forza horizon 4. NEVER. But when i play 7 days to die, the screen turned off and on every 4 seconds when i had recording software (adrenalline on RX 580). Turn that off and works fine, unless someone touches the fan switches, When i play halo Anversary collection, same issue in Halo 2. When i fired the scarab gun (skull in halo) i would get my Screen turn off evidence at time stamp 00:14 https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/12lgw1h/wtf_was_this_scream_chief/ i always thought its AMD drivers being bad and GPU overheating, and new the issue with fans but blamed the GPU. now last week i bought an Nvidia Gigabyte RTX 4060ti 8gb windforce 3 GPU for $250 and tried all those games, no flickering. BUT WHEN I TURN ON THE FAN ON AND OFF, monitor turns off.
  14. Thankyou, but i have some questions, if i move to AM5 system, do rest of my stuff work on that? like RAM, does it have to be DDR5 only?
  15. So ive upgraded the following in a PC i built in 2019 - RAM: from 16Gb 3000mhz to 32 GB 3200 Mhz - Running at 3000mhz cuz Mobo doesnt support - CPU cooler: Wraith prism broke after 3 years, installed Deepcool's AK400 - Storage Memory: Had Hard Disk 2TB which the PC doesnt work without now. Additional M.2 samsung 980 1TB, Corsair 500Gb Sata, Samsung 860 Evo M.2 Sata (was scammed) - GPU: Powercolor Red Devil RX 580 GB to Gigabyte Windforce x3 RTX 4060ti 8GB (for $250) All case fans changed. only thing left that i haven't changed in CPU and Mobo. The issue with Mobo is, its PCIE 3.0 So my GPU is not running to full potential, Same with Samsung 980, running slower than it should. Ram running at 3000 instead of 3200 (and even when ive forced it to Run at 3000 by manual clocking, its still slow to startup)
  16. I donno how to check power draw Drivers are recent, i also get BSOD last month 4-5 times
  17. so idle was 40 degrees and when playing halo for a hour, it came upto 76
  18. AM5 is new so might be expensive. all the games u mentioned can be run at 144 hertz at 1080p in high setting on AM4 with the right GPU but if budget is not an issue, Go with AM5 and DDR5 rams PCIE 5.0 FUTURE!!!
  19. there are some $10 adapters available to plug in m.2 SSD through SATA ports. and some even USB. purchase one and run your SSD on that for a day and see if its the issue with SSD or your NVME controller
  20. pretty sure you can buy cables for it, is it a modular power supply?
  21. what you chose looks very nice. Thoughts on CPU cooler?
  22. you are making a vacuum for pulling dust from other *places like those vents at rear. just go into BIOS and set your exhaust fans to run a low speed and intake fans to run at high speed. or just get rid of 2 fans for exhaust.
