  1. I enjoyed the scrapward series. I was able to show some of my friends that even though the low end hardware in the video is old it can still game fairley well. I started with a q6600 and a 5750 and was able to game fine, even till this day. Although I havent used that rig in a while.
  2. I would say go with something higher up there. My roommate blew a 650 watt in his system while gaming one day. so dont go cheep on one when you get it. It will help you save power over time as well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139060 You dont need to get something more than this as long as you are not going to cross fire and add 6 more hdd. Also consider an sdd. They help boost the system quite a bit.
  3. As to the gaming preformance it was able to game well with a 5750. hitting 30-45 fps. with a 270x in the system there was a major system boost.
  4. My room mate used that exact build in his main year for 3 years. It is a solid processor chip that runs rather cool at 30c.On the negitive side the they do consume a bit of power. Most records I have seen on an overclock are about 4.2-4.4, however we were never able to hit higher than a 4.0 stable. The motherboard also supports 32 gb of ram. even though newegg says 16gb. if you are going to upgrade any of the other parts I would say go for a better power suppy or a better power effecient GPU.
  5. I got this board and love it. I have a 4690k i5 overclocked to a 4.2 from a base clock of 3.5. This motherboard also has a number of 7010.
  6. It would be great having a new i7. Im still rocking the 930 i7.
  7. I found Linus Tech Tips in college while i was reseaching on a computer to upgrade from. The first computer that i bought was a intel Pentium 3 laptop. After figuring out what computer needed to run i moved onto a q6600. I am still running that in my rig and about ready to move onto a faster computer with more options for expantion. My favorite videos are the netlinked dailey. I try to make it a point to watch every other day at least. One of the newer types of videos that you have come out with that i like are the Handy Tech under $100. Things that i would like to see in the future is more comparisons with older compontents and newer ones. That way us as viewers are able to see what we are getting when we upgrade from an old platform to a new onE. Keep up the great work, I have gotten a few of my friends to watch you because of the experience you guys have. As well Linus is not as monotone as he use to be his first year in the youtube acting.
  8. I have learned alot from Linus over the last two years and starting to enjoy Jay. I dont care if i win anything i just hope that both of them continue to make videos for me to enjoy. This was a very creative video to get more viewers. I really enjoy Linus when he explains electronics but i think that you should The Binary Man some more videos.
  9. I would love the chance to have both products. Yet i would prefer to hit like on all of Linus' videos that i watch to give him incentive to make more for me to watch. Thanks for making great videos.
