  1. Why are you considering high-end cards of each generation if you only intend to game at 1080p? That is way too much of an overkill and need I say, an unnecessary investment. Get the RTX 2060 (preferably from Gigabyte or Asus) and it will do you just fine. I understand RT isn't something to be excited about as of now, but they'll sure come in handy in days to come.
  2. Like @Zeitec said, you could go for a better thermal paste. Or better yet, have you tried turning it off and on again?
  3. I'm a big fan of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and I'd highly recommend it. It checks every box for you, plus you are already familiar with the Samsung experience. This is my first time hearing of any battery issue with the Note 8. Samsung has implemented extreme tests to ensure there's no issue with the phone, especially on the battery front. Check for any reviewers on the internet and you are sure to get positive answers. All in all: - Solid build - Best display - Great camera for both photo and video - Excellent camera
  4. Oneplus 5T costs €500 in this day and age? That's wicked expensive. The G7 ThinQ is an excellent phone which unsurprisingly couldn't do well in terms of sales due to LG's incompetent marketing skills. While it lacks a competitive battery and an OLED panel, it is a great device and I think you should go for it.
  5. I've heard that the Italian tech-market usually is around 20-30% more expensive than other European markets. So, the S10 series being priced significantly higher than their previous S9 series is not really a fair conclusion. Let's hope for the best.
  6. The foldable display technology has still a long way to go to achieve absolute practicality. Royole's Flexpai is a great innovation but still far from practical in terms of everyday use. As MKBHD said, there are very few use-cases for the technology. Additionally, the "disguised" folding phone from Samsung and "leaks" of Xiaomi's own foldable phone do not look so promising either. We'll have to wait until the Unpacked event on 20th February where it is rumored that Samsung will be revealing the foldable phone in all its glory. All in all, since the technology is in its first generation, there's still a lot of rooms for improvement. However, I'm still pumped for it and hope the OEMs are able to truly wow the consumers.
  7. Definitely go for the S9. The only downside I'd say it has over the Pocophone F1 is the lesser battery and RAM. Otherwise, the S9 has everything going on its side. And with the new One UI on the horizon, you are sure to get a better user experience compared to the Samsung Experience UI.
  8. The RTX 2060 definitely has a great value for the price. With more and more games adopting the real-time RayTracing abilities, plus the onboard DLSS and serious overclocking capabilities, you will make a right purchasing decision with this card. However, if you're not into RT and are able to find 1080 cards on extremely good deals, you could go with that too.
  9. I'm leaning towards the MSI B450 Tomahawk on the mobo front. Don't wait up on the Ryzen 3000 Series. It could take a while and delay your PC build considerably.
  10. I think it's a pretty obvious choice here. Go with the Vega 64 and save up some cash while doing it.
  11. 430GB of 500GB (Internal HDD) 850GB of 1TB (External HDD) Mostly because I like to hoard digital contents like shows, movies, etc.
  12. Thermaltake manufactures incredible quality cases. My choice would be the Versa H18. https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Tempered-Gaming-Computer-CA-1J4-00S1WN-01/dp/B079G3TNDM
  13. I'm not sure about any overheating issues, but I'm certain that it's a great piece of tech. It's my second time hearing that hardware costs in Italy are way too high than other markets. Is there any particular reason for this?
