  1. Thank you all for your replies. I don't know yet if I am going to buy the Samsung CJG50 because as I've seen from reviews, like 3 out of 5 models come with burnt pixels. Also I've found this monitor : https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ32G1-Frameless-2560x1440-DisplayPort/dp/B07HKM16DT/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=aoc+cq32g1&qid=1576592864&sr=8-1 31,5'', 1440p 144hz 1ms response time and freesync! Seems like a great value and I would really appreciate if you could tell me your opinion about it. As for the monitors you recommended to me, all seem like great values (the video was helpful too), but unfortunately none of these monitors are available in my country.
  2. Hello everyone! So, I will be using a 5700xt red devil along with a ryzen 5 3600 for 1440p 144hz gaming. The monitor for this setup will be a Samsung CJG50, 27" . I've seen from reviews that its a pretty good monitor considering it only costs 270$. However, the monitor doesn't have freesync or g-sync (I guess that's what keeps its price so low). Will this be a problem ? Will this cause screen-tearing? Thank you!
  3. So let's say I use the 2600x and 5700xt to play games like Witcher 3, Far cry 5 etc. Will the cpu bottleneck my gpu? What if I overclock the cpu a bit?
  4. Hello everyone! I bought a ryzen 5 2600x for my gaming pc and I will be pairing it wil a 5700xt red devil, to play AAA games in 1440p 144hz. The 2600x costed 125 euros and the 3600 costs 190. Did I do the right choice? It seems like there is a big price difference between the 2600x and the 3600. Is it worth spending more money and getting the 3600? Thank you !
  5. Guys I found two versions of the rtx 2060 super. First one is the zotac mini model and the other one is the msi ventus. What do you think? Is the 2060 super a good value for 1440p 144hz?
  6. So, if I go for a duel or triple fan rx 5700xt model, those cost around 470 euros here (way more expensive than the rtx 2060). That's like 100 euros more. Is it worth it to pay that amount for 1440p? Can the rtx 2060 handle 1440p?
  7. By custom you mean those duel/triple fan models? Are the blower models good? Seems like any non-blower model is much more expensive than the blower ones. Also, will the cpu bottleneck the rx 5700xt?
  8. Hello everyone! I'm going to build a gaming pc to play games in 1440p resolution 144hz. My cpu will be a Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram 3200mhz and for the gpu I'm thinking of buying either the rtx 2060 or the rx 5700xt. The rtx 2060 costs 370 euros (msi gaming z) and the rx 5700xt costs 410 euros (gigabyte model). In reviews I have also seen that the vega 56 is very good for 1440p , very similar to the rtx 2060 in performance. How is that possible if the rtx 2060 is clocked at 1700mhz and the vega 56 at 1200-1500mhz? Which card should I buy for 1440p 144hz? Thank you !
  9. Alright I see what you mean. I'm probably going to buy the 1080p 240hz since I don't have the money to afford a decent 1440p card. Thanks for your replies
  10. Do you really need to be able to hit 240fps to see the 240hz difference? I looked it up and some say you do, some say you don't. Yeah overall the 1440p monitor is a much better deal since you can also lower the resolution in FPS games. As for the games I'm going to play: Apex Legends, Battlefield, Far Cry and more AAA titles. However, I don't want to stress my rtx 2060 or gtx 1660ti (depends on which one I buy). 2060 is great for 1080p but okay at 1440p. Thanks for your replies guys
  11. Unfortunately its not available in my country. I've read that the model I have listed supports g-sync too.
  12. Hello everyone! I'm looking for a 1080p monitor for my new gaming pc build coming in summer. I was looking at the Dell Alienware AW2518F. Its a 25'' monitor, 1080p and 240hz. I was wondering if its worth it considering it costs around 350 euros here. Also is there actually a difference between 144hz and 240hz? I have never tried playing at 144hz but 240hz was an amazing feeling for me. I will also be pairing the monitor with a 1660ti or even an rtx 2060. Can these two cards run smoothly at 1440p? If yes then I could also but the samsung cjg50, a 27'' curved monitor, 1440p and 144hz Thank you !
  13. Thank you all for replying ! Well, an IPS monitor is a lot more expensive here in Greece and I don't think I can afford anything over 300€. The cheapest IPS monitor I can find costs 384€. I don't think I will have any problems with a VA panel since the colors are still very good , compared to a TN. Do you know any good 144hz 1080p monitor you can suggest to me?
