So I had to jump through some hoops, way less than others would have had to, but I eventually did get to speak with two very friendly Nvidia techs.  Unfortunately, the facility I went to focuses primarily on driveress-automotive technologies.  However, they assured me the letter I handed off to them would be delivered to those who might be able to help in Santa Clara. Overall, it looks pretty good guys. Now as for that petition I'm working on, I'm almost finished figuring out exactly what we want it to say. Will keep you all posted.

TotallyNotYaBoi got a reaction from Meeseeks in What the heck is going on?
    Hello all!
I am a 15 y/o based in NJ facing a series of very mysterious issues with my system.  It started back in August when the system was first built.  My issues include coil whine, poor visual quality, Micro stutter, Poor Anti-Aliasing, terrible Draw Distance, Exceptionally high CPU usage, Weird loading/disappearing polygons, variable and late loading textures.  Refer to the timeline for further info and thank you all for your help :)

    Specs:
    i5 8600k @ 3.6GHz
    GTX 1080 @ 1.8 GHz (Auto Boosted)
    16GB 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM
    Asus Z370 Gaming-H LGA 1151
    650W EVGA Modular PSU
    1 TB WD Blue HDD
    128GB M.2 SSD
Arctic ESports Freezer 33, keeps CPU 65c under full load

    Mid-August: Built system, works fine
    Late-August:
Coil Whine starts, request new card New card arrives, No change,  Request new PSU PSU arrives, No change, decide to ignore it. Graphical Issues First Appear:
Issues listed above ^ Checked Drivers, Updated, No change Checked Nvidia Settings, 100+ hours fooling around, No change Tried New Card, No Change Tried new RAM, No Change Switched back to Intel, (Initial Spec was Ryzen R5 2600x), No change Tried new PSU, No change Tried cleaning power (APC) and looked for new power source, No Change Changed BIOS Overclocking and other options back to stock, No change Reinstalled Windows x 12, On various occasions, no change. Tried other monitors, No change Tried HDMI, (Run Display Port), No Change Tried other PCI-E slots for the card, No Change Attempted different monitor sync technology, other than G-Sync, no change As of right now I am desperate for answers and have been waiting for 5 months to play Battlefield 1 with friends without constant stutter and graphical interruption. Any help that can be provided would be much appreciated :)

Ofcourse we dont pay someone for a solution that "might" work, only if the problem is completly solved, and explained how.

Hey all, its me again, I have good news and bad news.

The Good: I can now play Minecraft at 1440p 500 fps and absolutely merk my little sister and her friends in in sky wars.

The Bad: Exactly the same problem, despite all my preparation.  I got my new rig, built it, SET UP A SEPERATE BREAKER IN MY HOUSE OFF OF A GENARATOR and through a power filter and had my father, an electrician of 20 years, check it.  Power theory is out.  I never once connected my pc to the internet, downloaded origin and drivers to a flash drive and copied them to the system.  I also set up a HARDWARE FIREWALL! No luck, so as far as I'm concerned, virus theory is out.  The top theories I have based on the evidence are the following:

    A. The new versions of graphical drivers are not communicating properly with VRAM/RAM
    B. Manufacturers are doing this on purpose to boost FPS numbers and boast "4K Compatible" and "VR Ready" on potato machines.
    C. Game engines are becoming dated and are simply not as compatible as they used to be with new hardware

Of the above, my money is on C, and as such, I will buy COD MW, built on a brand new engine to test this theory.  I haven't given up yet, but for now, I just wanna enjoy my new pc.  If anyone has any idea why my post times are 20+ seconds pls let me know, I have an NVMe and everything, windows boots in 2 seconds, but POST is soooo long.

    Cheers lads,
    BJ
