I have streamed for years to Twitch, Youtube, and Facebook without any issues but recently no matter what service I am streaming to or what software I am using ot push the stream my stream is lagging. The only change lately in my set up is the installation of gigabit internet in my house. The problem is when I preview my stream in OBS or Xsplit it is lagging in the software which in turn is showing lag online to viewers. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I have a 4790k CPU and my download and upload internet speeds are 800/800

My ping now is 7-20 which is insane idk how much better it can be to be honest....but yeah numbers make my pants tight so hurry up Verizon or else when my lease is up I might purposely pick a place that gets service to move into. Btw I am pretty much sold and swapping the 7700k with the 7800x and MSI board to go along with it....I really like MSI boards I have used and built 30+ computers with them and not one has failed.

Gigabit is moving slowly in America but when I can grab it...oh boy :-) I pay $100 now for 300/35 so paying less than that for 900/800 will be insane.

Cox communication I live in Virginia....Verizon has 900/800 in the area just not yet available in my apartment complex.

Yeah my Synology machine is legit I really like it. I was able to re purpose older 3.5 drives and have the double redundancy. Very nice indeed. Coming back to the RAID 0 set up...The 2x500GB 960's is all I relaly need for storage on my PC since I have 300/35 internet games download fast enough for me to not have to keep my whole steam library active and I have my NAS for putting all my finished projects. I probably will use at the most 700GB of the roughly 940GB available of that main RAID 0 Partition. The 2x850's will probably go unused....which now that I am typing this out I sound like an asshole...idk I feel like I want looks as well as functionality and having smaller drives doesnt feel right

Not concerned as I have a 4TB double redundancy back up for all things that matter. Also I have done RAID 0 for years on multiple drives had zero issues and have seem improvements. Double 850's will not see much improvment due to SATA limitations but astetically i want two 2.5" drives. The two 960's will see an improvement and I like having one big drive with speed. Basically my RAID 0 has OS and re downloadable files so if somehow they failed I would not cry.

At the very least I should be able to get a 7800x to 4.2 on all 6 cores which is what my current 4790k is set to....so idk man its super appealing.

I just might.....there is alot of upside....I could wait until August 1st to buy and build and in that time hopefully see some promising reviews....what is going to decide the fate of the 7800x is if the CPU has as good or better IPC than the 7700k and keeps up or destroys the current Ryzen 7 lineup in editing tasks. OC head room is nice because who doesnt like to see higher numbers but honestly I can live with 4.0ghz if the the single and multi core performance out performs 7700k and current Ryzen 7 chips....because the price of $389 is not bad really.....just gotta hope the Motherboards don't make me cry in price

You know I really have considered waiting for the 7800x I mean more cores probably going to have great OC head room and more PCI lanes would be great but the wait is sooooo hard......although this is why I am posting the build to help me choose. Also at $100 more I can swing that in my budget

To answer other questions....The CPU is listed as a CPU/MOBO combo with taxes and warranties at my local Microcenter. I will be RAID 0 both sets of SSD's because I am a mad man. Also on top of that I really and I do mean this I really do not need 2TB of SSD storage but I want the 2.5" SSD mounts filled on the case since they are visible. Also when streaming and editing I have used 16GB of RAM before 32GB is overkill for just in case....also I want all four DIMMS filled for looks

So I thought about that but I honestly do not want to wait......and that's about it....editing is not something I depend on for money so I am not super concerned with more cores. I played with a 7700k on a buddies build and was really impressed on the OC potential and its performance in games which if I am being honest is what the computer will do a lot more of then editing. 1. Intel Fan Boy 2. I like faster cores for gaming 3. AMD is making a hell of a case for my money but I think Zen Gen 2 is what I am really wanting to see
