I prefer wired headphones and I didn't know some headsets have detachable microphones. I'm gonna assume the ones with microphones cost more.

Hello! I'm looking for new headphones under $100. Using it mainly for music, however would like to use it for gaming aswell. I really don't want one with a microphone as I have one already. Asking as the many people recommend have microphones attached to them. I was thinking of getting ATH-M30x but heard they aren't well suited for gaming. I am not a headphone expert at all and would appreciate any help.

Alright, I was able to upgrade the motherboard and see a significant boost in performance. Getting frame rates higher than 90. Now the issue is the temperatures are still very high, hitting 90c after a BIOS update.I was able to test it before the update and I was getting 20-30 idle. Now getting 37-45 on idle. I've already installed the missing screw and applied the appropriate amount of thermal paste.

Alrighty then. Is the PSU still good though? It still runs really well.

I found a set of Intel screws on eBay for a cheap price. Just needed to know if this was an issue. I also bought a ASrock z370 extreme4 and hoping it'll fix the VRM issue.

I originally bought it for my AMD FX processor and thinking I would never switch to Intel. And well, one screw got lost. I regret not caring for the Intel screws.

Ah, I only applied a thin line across the CPU. I didn't use all of the amount that was in the tube. Also, something I just looked at and remembered... I'm missing one of the screws that is inserted through the br acket... The rest of the three aren't screwed on too tight but aren't loose either.

No, I haven't tried re seating it yet and still feel there isn't enough thermal paste applied. Here's how it looks in the corsair link. Not sure if 2306 is the correct rpm for the pump.

For the BIOS update, I'll use the i3 8gen I still have. There wouldn't be any performance issues if I use a z370 right? Also, found a ASRock Z370 Pro4 on sale. Wondering if that's good and has no VRM issues. The MSI board looks good too! Not looking for anything fancy on a board and might do light OC.

I was able to move the h100i to the front of the case and now get 60-65c during gaming. Still getting 90c on cinebench though. I went to the bios and reset the settings and seemed to slightly improve performance, getting 60-90 fps in GTA V but still seems too low for 1080p. I'm thinking of just replacing the current board and getting a z370 board. I don't know any good ones.

Yep, the case has space to mount to the front aswell. I'll try that! Also, would it be better just upgrade to another motherboard?
