    flv is a video format for Flash player, and thus just as obsolete.  Try something more common like mp4 and it should embed fine

    @Ryan_VickersI realized that after posting.  For some reason OBS studio still defaults to flv, and I'm too lazy to learn ffmpeg.

    Interesting, not sure why they would do that xD

     

    As for ffmpeg, I'm not a huge fan myself, tried it briefly but realized there's more to it than I care to get into.  With that said I've never needed it.  Any video editing tool should let you export to a format of your choice, and if you're not editing it, as I said OBS can record directly into something more common anyway.
