LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway

This thing would be great. For back yard movies/gaming... Good on you LG for innovating! Seen that LG washer commercial with the house of cards which is sick! Man I am getting old lol -
I am having issues with my HP DV6-7073ca. I have had both my main OS drive as a SSD and the expansion CD-ROM bay also with a SSD for a few years. I have had 3 drives fail in the caddy bay and now the 4 won't even show up at all. When I boot with an SSD installed it starts slower then normal and with a white line in the top lefthand corner. The funny thing is that a 2.5' harddrive in the same caddy works fine. I have looked in the bios for AHCI but nothing is in there to configure. Another thing is that the OS SSD is fine and works as expected. I have tried a new caddy as the original was from out of country and thought maybe that was the issue but that didn't fix the issue. Can anyone in this genius lodge help me?

Logged out and back in and it is fine, now! I did put in a ticket maybe they fixed it or just a bug.

My buddies end goal is to have a 144hz monitor 1920x1080 and he is looking at a GTX 960. I mentioned to him that the 960 mostly have only 2gb of vram and wanting a 144hz monitor maybe a issue because to match the monitor refresh rate the GTX 960 would have produce 144fps. If I am completely wrong about this please let me know where my thought process has gone array!

I know that I am not a seasoned vet on these forums, and newbies seemed to be nailed to the stake! On that note if by luck I do get this prize, I will use some of my money I would have used to get a 980 to buy some peripherals from Amazon with Linus tech tips affiliate link, like I always do when ordering from Amazon. TBH I really like the extreme over the omega, would be a great addition to my blue led build that is waiting for a GPU!

I thoroughly enjoy watching every unboxing, review, techquikies, WAN show and horse play on the "Channel Super Fun"! Your review have help me slowing get parts from NCIX and a few other vendors to build my moderate gaming rig, which is still not finished, yet! I would like to see you guys build a freeNAS box out of an old PC and review the WD Red/Green to build a media/storage. Congrats on the million subs! I know I don't speak for myself but Linus Media Group is a great resource to build, upgrade or add accessories and peripherals to your PC inventory!- 22,217 replies
