Boutchoo's Achievements

  1. I normally Use EBay but it takes around 3 weeks for the item to arrive at my door. Sometimes I will use aliexpress for better price than EBay But the King stays with Amazon, very good shipping time, tons of sellers and good customer support. I bought almost all my SATA cable and Molex to SATA power on Amazon for next to nothing (canadian dollars). Otherwise there's Craigslist... but you often need a way of transport to meet the person for the trade. Best of luck! :3
  2. I once ordered a GTX 970 in Jan 2015, it was -20 Celcius and it stayed outside for about 4-5 hours. When I came back from work, I simply placed the box on my kitchen table and waited around 1h or so before opening the box. Never got any problem with it 1 year later.
  3. " Don't tell me what do to, MOM! " Why downloads it anyway... hehehe
  4. Greetings everyone, nowadays everyone seems to have at least a Free AV installed on their computers. From my personal experience, I have never encountered any other virus/Trojan since the one I had on my old HP Laptop back in 2009-2010. - Right now, I am using Avast Pro (365 days subscription) but I feel like I am wasting my money each time because I never get alerts of detected virus and I never visit dark websites (Good guy Chrome warns me and blocks me from accessing it before it's too late). - I have visited a lot of forums and comparison blogs but I never had a True Single answer for "My" needs. (I can pay for an AV only if the extra features are really worth it) This is what I mostly do with my Computer: - I play video games from steam/origin; - I watch YouTube, go on Facebook/twitter/9gag/forums and emails (gmail + Yahoomail); - I watch some movies and anime; - I do my homework and work on it too. My general knowledge: I heard BitDefender is a good choice but the UI is not user-friendly and it's power hungry; KasperSky is 50/50, when it works it's good but when it doesn't... well it doesn't at all; Avast is annoying and apart from always updating it never seems in action...(good or not?); Windows Defender could be a good choice but it doesn't detect a lot of viruses (is it important?); I never used McAfee or Norton (you know why ;] ); I have Microsoft security essentials installed on my Asus Laptop, is it good?; Some suggests to use ESET NOD32 Antivirus on a Gaming Rig to avoid extra CPU/RAM usage. I hope everything is clear! Don't hesitate to leave suggestions and/or correct me if something is wrong or if you notice any grammatical mistakes! (English isn't my native language) Thank you for reading! Best Regards, Boutchoo SOURCE: Comparative Antivirus 2014 (French with Graphs)
  5. I have the Corsair Vengeance 2000 Right now (not the 2100), and the claw force is week, the foam earcups are way to big, the sound is mediocre, and it's a boom mic (I hate boom mics). So I was looking for an alternative, better claw force, leather earcups, wireless (even comes with 2 battery), a Station (for my consoles and other devices), and a retractable mic when I use it outside the house or when not using the mic, and they are relatively small and classy. I am not an Audiophile, but have all my songs (or most) at .wav or .aac 192K. For 300$, I find these pretty darn good (except the microphone with no AM). If you happen to have something very similar at lower price, send it to me now, I still haven't bought the H Wireless (back order and still 427$ for no reasons)
  6. I went on a compare price website ( don't know if allowed to post it here) And the 132$ @ NCIX Popped out, but not the one at 129$ that I saw when searching SSD 256GB After I bought mine... At least it's just 3,40$ difference at the end, but it's not the first time I see this....
  7. Well, I have a Samsung 840 Pro 128GB for my Boot and Main editing programs, but this one is just for Games and often used programs. The Evo was too expensive for the purpose it would have.
  8. I was on NCIX when I found this (again): Same Exact SSD, two prices. And again, I bought the 133$ one... Can they just clean their items, it's getting old to see this every corners
  9. Yeah, it sounds bad in text, it's just a funny way to say "Are you alright over there?"
  10. Argument Invalid in data file, please try again later. These following reasons seems to interfere (Big, pricey, no swappable battery, black only, foam hearcups)
  11. I have a PS3, Xbox 360, Laptop, PC, tablet and S4. So I prefer one for all of them and being wire-free around my workplace and home. And what are your arguments to say such things?
  12. Hi, I was about to buy the Steelseries H Wireless (normally $299.99) and when refreshing the page[ http://www.ncix.com/detail/steelseries-h-wireless-headphones-20-20000hz-6c-93103.htm ] I saw $497 then $427. Is this "normal" ? Thank you.
