  1. Wow! That is more than some countries' yearly budgets...
  2. I use NordVPN and can recommend it. Overall it is a pleasant experience, lots of servers to choose from, good speeds, most of the time I don't even notice it's turned on. I did see the news about the breach not long after buying Nordvpn, but no personal details we stolen during the breach, so I never gave it much though. Also, bonus is that Nord goes that extra mile for security now, they do a yearly 3rd party audit and have a known cybersec professional on their board.
  3. When I was a kid I downloaded some questionable software that bricked by dads old PC :D
  4. Yeah, fair, don't blame you, I tried following to what happened and nord's reaction seemed pretty reasonable to me. Good question about Panama, but I guess you can ask the same about expressvpn who are based in the Virgin islands, or most of the other market leaders. Might be a good reason for it, but never thought about it. Maybe because Switzerland is smack dab in the middle of Europe?
  5. I'd like to chime in and just say that you have to think critically when it comes to VPN's, just like with any other service. Don't go giving your data away to some unvetted, new player in the market, just because their introductory price is fractionally better than the established brands. Do your research, if you can't find anything, maybe it's not the best choice. Most brands will have something good and at least a bit of bad things about them on the internet. I personally use nordvpn, because they are an established brand, I like the 3-rd party audits they do now, that they're based in a country that does not have any data retention laws, and most importantly that their product is one of the best in the market, it does what it's supposed to do.
  6. It is a very sad situation, there are plenty of videos on YT where you can see these old and vulnerable people being scammed. Sometimes they don't even know what's going on.. Breaks my heart, I am sure that Apple could do something about it, but they most likely don't care that much.
  7. Probably playing something like STALKER or Skyrim. "need. the. full. experience"
  8. maybe he uses it .... outside haha
  9. About the video.. I’ve seen it being shared a couple of times but it really seems bias and I don’t get why ppl are sharing it. The video is based on the techcrunch article, but ppl tend to forget that it is actually owned by Verizon (which has a vpn service of their own). While yes, the Data Center in Finland fucked up, but it was really minor compared to the shit NordVPN gets from ppl. I’ve read a couple of articles that showcase how much “damage” this breach did. For example, in here , “NordVPN users have not been compromised by an attacker gaining access to one expired TLS key for a single server in Finland.” The article itself is worth reading, it covers the events in detail, without taking any sides (which is rare, as everyone tries to jump to conclusions)
  10. Great review, thanks for sharing! Honestly think that it's quite a good deal for the price
  11. Same. But i feel like earbuds cancel noise better, or is it only me? Don't get me wrong, love Marshall and all... but sometimes you just need that extra silence.
