Is the reference really that bad, that it would require watercooling?

Should I buy 2 week old xfx reference r9 290x for 300 or look for a non reference 290 for under 300$? I also see used r9 290 reference cards on eBay for less than 250.

Hi, I recently picked up a pair of HD 558's for a good price. They sound great, but I was wondering if the integrated sound card on the Gigabyte g1 sniper m5 was good enough to power these. Would a sound card be a big improvement for these headphones?

I like the signatures and IPS panel.

I've had the board for awhile but decided to use the front ports today for audio. The front port headphone works fine, but the mic doesn't work. I checked all the sound blaster options and nothing appears when I plug in my headphones. It works in the rear ports though. I saw other people with problems, but didn't see a solution. If anyone has any advice that would be great.

I have a 500gb hard drive from an old computer for storage and a 128gb OCZ ssd for quick boot and games.

Recently I've been having some internet issues. There are 3-4 computers connected to my network at a time and when I turn on my computer, all of the computers experience lag. Wirelessly, we usually get 30 down and 10 up speed. After turning on my computer the speeds drop to around 20 down. Then, when I open up any program that uses an internet connection, it drops to less than 1mb down speed. I have an Apple Airport Extreme and the isp provided modem/router. I tried both and experience the same problems. I also have an asus pce-n13 adapter. I found one way around the problem by having my phone run pdanet. So the connection goes from the router to my phone to my computer. This is the only work around I can find so far. Any help would be appreciated.

I have both and I really enjoy the g710+. I find the media keys and volume scroll extremely useful. Although typing on the Blackwidow is extremely comfortable, I would go for the g710+.

Hi, I have an XFX 7770 Double Dissipation and it is not GHz edition. I'm wondering since I overclocked it to 1110MHz, would it be the same performance as buying a GHz edition card? What is the difference between GHz and non GHz cards?
