  1. Hi guys, its summer here in Brasil and its freaking hot, so i've been monitoring my PC temps and CPU is fine (barely hitting 68°C on 40 min in AIDA64), but my GPU is reaching the following temps: -AC off, room temp:30-40°C GPU at 100%load(Heaven,Kombustor and The Witcher3): 76°C max -AC on, room temp:18-22°C GPU at 100%load(Heaven,Kombustor and The Witcher3): 72°C max I'm using a bit of overclock and a profile for the GPU fans, both in msi afterburner (images) Are those temps ok? I know its not thermal throttling and its still boosting to 1980MHz on Heaven and 1910 on the Witcher3, but i would like a bit of yours guys opnion. Should i remove the OC? Change the fan profiles? Maybe downgrade the RAM OC to 1866 with 1.6V and try to run the hole case a little cooler? Im open to suggestions , thanks! PS: My case has 2 intake fans (140mm/120mm) and 3 exhaust (2 120mm on the radiator/1 200mm)
  2. I havent streamed in a while(4 - 5 years) so i dont remember quite well, but streaming requires a good quantity of RAM, maybe with the ups to a i5 or a i7 throw more 8 GB of RAM?
  3. PS: Be careful, dont use GeForce experience optimize your games, it will just put everything on max possible not caring for 60 fps+
  4. Not really, AC Origins is just a bad optimized game, even a 1070 can drop below 60 fps on high settings, sadly i think thats the max performance u will get with that gpu
  5. It will in CPU bound games, before buying the 4790, i had the i5 4670 and it bottlenecked my 1070 in games like COD,BF, even in CSGO (not much bottleneck but more smoothness), that to 1080 p, above that the cpu will be ok
  6. It depends, some people buy monitors due to other features like 144Hz or 2k/4k resolution, because unlike Gsync, Freesync monitors are not more expensive because it has this feature.
  7. Well, the better way to find a broken GPU is to test in multiple systems, so i think its a good idea for u to do it, and temps look fine, so no problem there,
  8. U said your ryzen was bought prior to all parts, how long ago was that? Because on lauch, ryzens would have good and bad chips of the same cpu for OC, memory OC, etc, depending on luck if u bought a good or bad one, do u have another system where u can test the RAM and GPU with other CPU (that will also helps to see if the problem is on the GPU or RAM)? Also, how is thermals, u didn`t said what cpu cooler u are using, so could be a thermal problem
  9. Is it one stick of 8GB or 2x4GB? I`ve seen ryzens with bad performace when not in dual channel memory
  10. It will bottleneck a little bit, maybe go for the 1080 that is the cheaper and a i7 7700? There is this site that has this 7 gen processors with those GPU in comparisson https://papahardware.net/comparative/gtx-1080-ti-fe-7+core-i5-7400-10-vs-gtx-1080-ti-fe-7+core-i7-7700-9.html
  11. Hi guys, i have the PC of the signature and my 1070 Black edition from EVGA doesnt come with a backplate, do u guys know anywhere that sells easy to install and good quality backplates for it? Also, with worldwide shipping since im from Brasil... thanks
  12. I have the non k version and the 1070 and its great for me, would def wait for new cpu generation of ryzen before thinking about upgrading
  13. the i7 6th gen or i5 8600k will do it, no need to go all the way to i7 8700
  14. Yes, for example a GTX 1070 is around $600 dollars, thats due to our taxes, almost 40% of the price is taxes
  15. Thanks, i guess i will buy any of the three that is the cheapest, just staying away from crappier brands and i guess i will be ok
  16. Here in Brasil i cant find the mx4 in reliable places to buy...
  17. Yeah , i imagined something like that, i guess i will buy the cheapest out of the three, thanks bro
  18. Lol, well when i bought this PC in 2014 the h60 was almost nothing more expensive than good aircooler, then i bought it
  19. Hi guys, im from Brasil and im switching CPUs in a few weeks, but for that i need to add thermal paste into the new CPU, but here we dont have much options, the only good ones i could find is: artic silver5, thermaltake tg7 or tg8 and cooler master master gel marker, which one is better (im not gonna OC, its gonna be a i7 4790 and a h60 cooler)
  20. Yeah, prices are weird here in Brasil,as i told the other guys I have the money for the i7 + 1070, but not the i5(8th/9th gen)+mobo+ram+1070, so i would be with my current i5 4670 +1070 and only getting 8th/9th gen i5 in 6-8 months, which is better, be at bottleneckling for 8 months and get the new config, or up to the i7 and only worry about upgrading again in 3-4 years?
  21. Thanks man, im kinda of a newbie when its about hardware and u helped me a lot in this and the other post i made monday, so i guess i Will look for better prices and go for the i7+1070...
  22. Like, i have the money for the i7 + 1070, but not the i5+mobo+ram+1070, so i would be with my current i5 4670 +1070 and only getting 8th/9th gen i5 in 6-8 months, so whats better:i7 now/i5 4th gen(bottleneckling) for 8 months and New i5? And my BIOS is the latest version of the gigabyte z87-HD3, is the f8 version in the site It says It supports the i7 4790
  23. I only use for games and i invest in my Pc in 4 to 4 years,u think i7 4790+ 1070 Will ok for the Next four years of 1080p 60fps gaming?
