Hi Guys, I am planning to make a retro gaming build, The board I have is MSI K9MM-V it supports dual channel DDR2 with the processor. Is DDR2 667 fine or will I be missing some performance by not going DDR2 800. I couldn't find any benchmarks online comparing ram speeds online with that particular processor. Thanks.

but usage of GTX 750 is always above 85 percent and HD6850 is always below 80 percent. And cpu in both cases pinned 100 percent. In markarth gtx 750 crawls at 16 fps avg while hd 6850 gives around 30 fps

i agree cpu is bottleneck but with a slower card its giving 20 more fps and minimums are always above 30 unlike with gtx 750 stuttering at 9 fps. atleast they should match in performance

So decided to build a hackintosh and bought some old parts to build another machine. I was currently using HD 6850 2GB. Looking from reviews all around GTX 750 1GB seem a faster card in almost every game. So i swaped my HD 6850 for GTX 750 in my main machine. I have a Athlon II 250 overclocked at 3.6 Ghz. Hd 6850 2GB gpu usage stayed around 50 to 70 percent and it churned out 50 fps avg and min of 30 and cpu pinned at 100 percent. BUT GTX 750 1GB gpu usage is always above 85 percent all the time and it only gives 30 fps avg and min of 6-9 and cpu pinned at 100 percent. I have tried everything fresh drivers installs latest drivers fiddling with nvidia internal graphics settings heck it doesn't even perform similar. What i am doing wrong? I have official high resolution textures installed and nothing else. Only one things comes to my mind is the difference of vram HD 6850 2GB 1GB more than GTX 750. Is this whats ruining fps. I also have a 1055T in mail so will test when it arrives so cpu bottleneck will get ruled out.

790GX With DDR2 8 GB installed

These will for an upgrade of an old system. That is basically used for Programming, youtube and testing in vmware. Casual gaming at 1366x768 (Have an HD6850). Currently i have a Athlon 250 overclocked to 3.9Ghz. Was confused between these two processors The 955 comes for Rs2000 And the 1055T comes for Rs3500 (125W) comes for Rs4000(95W) Want to know is the almost double price of 1050T justified for additional 2 cores as its an old system. Note :They will both be overclocked.

Yeah doing this is like ruining their income source. Like on facebook videos which are just badly edited youtube videos with no reference to the original content creater.

Go for C Java and python they will form a good base. I recommend geeksforgeeks.org they provide basics and already made up programs. Once you get familiar with syntax and all you can try solving problems on hackerrank or codechef to test your skills. Go for data structures next then. You can also look for video lectures on youtube but at a initial level reading and doing is better cos following videos side by side can be tedious for begginers. I am a gamer.... Using a wireless mouse battery dies almost every 2 days sometimes have to pause the action to replace the battery, the battery also makes it heavy. Really in need of a new mouse what else can be better than this.
