Hii, I'v had the same problem with my Sony Xperia Z2. In idle it was hot and the battery didnt last long, phone factory reset didnt fix the problem for me, but then my friend told me to do a factory reset with PC software and that actualy did it. Now my phone works just fine. Maybe your should try this if there is something like Sony companion but for samsung phones. Would like to hear from you if this fixed it!
