GriseBonden got a reaction from TatamiMatt in GPU wont fit in the case/MOB
So I ended up installing the gpu onto the MOB before putting it in the case. I then pick it up and install it (a bit of a hassle, but it went ok). When I booted to windows, it would not show up in device manager. I plugged in the ethernet cable, and after a little waiting the screen flashed and the gpu got recognized (probably windows installing some drivers). It works now, and all of the outputs on the card works as well 🙂

Prime boards are rather low tier, and even Gaming are only mid tier, but woild be ok, just not great
And yes any 240mm AIO will be way better than a 120mm one

GriseBonden got a reaction from GerbilPlays in Can my PC run 144hz?
    Hi.
I was just wondering if anyone has experience or know if my computer (gtx 1070TI, I5 8600K, 16GB ram) can handle a 144hz 1080p monitor. And if not, what I should consider upgrading to.

Edit: Forgot to say that I will be playing Rainbow six siege and titanfall 2, and that is why im wondering

That hardware will do really well in VR.

As for the USB ports, an internal PCIe USB expansion card is what you would want to use if you lack USB3.0 ports.

1070TI, i5-8600K, 16GB ram. That's more than enough for VR, also to be sure run steam VR benchmark link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/323910/SteamVR_Performance_Test/
