  1. alright cool, so I settled on this for now.. 3 in the front of the radiator pushing in and the 3 in the back/top pulling out. I love the 80's look ? but that nasty fan in the back of the case has to go. it will be the last 12$ I spend on this thing........ maybe some white MB, and GPU power cables ? I'm gonna just do a few stress tests and hopefully it all works out. This little beast is everything I need now... till I get the itch for another 1080 or one of those new suckers!
  2. how is the ram temp monitored? if it got to hot would it throttle like a gpu, or a cpu? based on overclocking it slightly?
  3. I was running a little H55 cooler before and it was not liking the 8700k... that sucker gets so hot... I figured I might as well get the biggest one I could fit in the case and go from there... I knew in the beginning I didn't have enough airflow, so I figured wth might as well max out the whole case.. fuggit I already spent a grip of $$$ what's a few dollars more.. I just don't wanna mess with it anymore ?LOL!
  4. I will monitor the temps. I am definitely getting a lot of hot air coming out of this sucker as it's heating my room up pretty good.. im assuming I can adjust the fan speed in the corsair program?
  5. I was thinking to do the one on top of the ram pushing fresh cool air to the ram, the one on top of the cpu and rear as an exhaust. unfortunately I'm limited on the front cooler because the radiator is so big. the fans must be bolted to the chassis first then the radiator behind them. So I ran the 3 radiator fans have to be in a push in or pull out configuration.. its all a really tight fit. I like the look of the case but if I had a chance to do it differently I would have done a little more research on cases cause this isn't the best case for ultimate cooling right now the 3 radiator fans are the only intakes the other 3 fans are pulling air out the case.... I wish I had a mount for fan in the bottom of the case for another intake.... that would have been perfect..
  6. Alright alright... so I just got this beast in...(corsair h150i pro)... It's going into the corsair 400c case... it's only gonna fit in the front, too big for the top! comes with the 3 fans (2 white boxes + naked fan). Im pretty sure it will either fit push or pull for the radiator. how should I do those three? then I have 2 AF140s I'm gonna put on the top of the case... which way should I mount those? 1 exhaust, and one intake (below the ram? ) or both AF140s as exhaust? then I have the back case exhaust fan which I'm pretty sure is gonna stay there... unless otherwise siggested....and then that last big ass fan (very back left in picture) which I really can't do anything with? what would be the best configuration working with what I have? help me out! please
  7. I can do that but I want the case gone too. I figured someone could get a working pc right out of the box and play games on it right away without messing around too much. im kinda hesitant though to sell on Craigslist cause I don't want crazies coming to my house so that would be an option! thanks! I'll consider that too.
  8. I'm going to list it on either eBay or Craigslist or both.. I just need an idea on the value, what's the bottom dollar I should take... Asus CM-6870 tower I7-3770k 16gb DDR3 ram DVD-RW drive upgraded 650w bronze certified PS XFX RX RS 480 8gb 500gb Samsung Evo 850 SSD fresh copy of Windows 10. included but not installed is a corsair H60 cooler... I can part ways with a Dell 24in 1080p monitor, Logitech keyboard and some random wireless gaming mouse too if I do a Craigslist deal... what's a price I can take comfortably. i dont need to get the best out of it whatever I just need to get rid of it? what y'all think? The Asus MoBo isn't overclockable cause Asus stock pcs suck. just looking for a ballpark figure here before I go out and list it. also how should I list it... thinking... Entry Level gaming PC! Cheap! lol or some sheet like that.
  9. alright! sweet i will give it a shot, where do I DL it from? I'm going to edit it on Windows 10, my rig is fast enough so that will save me $195 from my budget... I appreciate that.
  10. so let's roll back a year... my friends helped me film our wedding, and they charged us 0$ Lots of small clips, and here and there's... most of the ceremony is unusable audio wise because the wind wax approaching 30 mph... I told them all you have to do was film son stuff for me.. and I will take care of the rest. . So here we are almost 1 yr later and i will not matter what put a video together in the next 3 weeks... I need your guys help. any way possible. I'm willing to spend the little money that we have to make this work. I can do the editing myself or whatever. most of the outdoor shots ate gonna have to be music ... I need to find a decent editing software that won't break the bank or find someone who can do it for me. I cannot afford Adobe premiere... so if anyone has some suggestions in the sun $100 range or can help me out I would really appreciate it. there is about 1- 2 hours of video I need to condense into 20min... can you guys help me out or point me in the right direction. again not free will pay for software or help , let me know what I can do. Any suggestions are appreciated.
  11. I work outside most of the time so I have to have steel toes... and I take the wife out a lot so I need some nice dress shoes.... but you can rest assured that I can drive in both... however I'm like a woman I change my shoes to appropriate when I'm done driving and before I drive because it feels way more comfortable to me at least. plenty of trunk space in all the cars. no need not to take 2 min to change your shoes... but then again I'm married so if I was single id be on those hot shoes 1 time in a hot min!
  12. I had a short throw in the STI and ended up selling it because I didn't like how I couldn't adjust the height. I'm a big dude so I always felt like I was creaked to the right all the time I drove if that makes sense at all.... i like the tightness but im way over 6ft tall... that was a problem for me... however it also has a lot to do with consol height/seat position too.... I am perfectly contempt with this 7 speed because it's "waist high" not thigh high.. in this car there is no need for a short shifter because they made it from the factory really damn good... in 4th gear you can get your driving privileges taken away till pretty much hell freezes over twice and some... and super quickly... 5,6, and 7 are useless EPA gas saving gears....
  13. vans are fine sir, them or some chucks will do just fine. some people swear buy wrestling shoes because that's the closest thing to "racecar shoes" ???
  14. how about this for a lot less money... it's not as fancy but you know what I think it would help your crusade I'm almost sure of it... if it doesn't work out it's only a buck fiddy down the drain and you can sell it on the forums and get some money back?
