  5. Greetings fellas so i am running an i5 7400k with gtx 1050ti 4gbs in the pci-e1 and everything posts fine and shit except I can't see the gpu in the display adapters section, i am using hdmi connection but as my monitor is vga and supports up to 1366 x 768 i use an adapter while waiting for my acer 144hz but i dont really see the any options in display settings other than 1024x768 ((My issues)) -can't set my monitor to 1366x768 -uh my pc doesn't read the gpu idk??? ((What i tried)) -Setting in bios primary display as pci expressive -Changing pcie slots ((Gud info)) -My hdmi is connected in the gpu slot -My gpu lights are lit (all the time) -My gpu fans are not spinning(only few secs in the beginning but then stop) -I did not try to run a game yet(downloading) -i have a asrock bios
  6. no way i just bought both the cpu and mobo and successfully installed it into the socket ughhhh
  7. This is the second post i make since in the last one i've been told to get a new psu, got a brand new gold psu 3rd tier 650w, along with my setup Intel Core i5 7400,Patriot DDR4 2400,ASRock lga 1151 which claims to support i5 up to 7th generation, I hear no beeps meaning i've set everything correctly, yes i inserted the speaker, i could not possibly shorty anything as i've used 2 antistatic bands on both hands,i use 8 pins for cpu port, i boot with no gpu, i reset the Cmos battery each time i boot it up IN SHORT my pc boots up for few seconds and then starts restarting and loops. i am really frustrated at that point i dont understand how does this whole thing work, i spent a year doing research to avoid some common issues, i've read the no post to check list at least 3 times, please any help will be highly appreciated folks ;-;
  8. alright new psu it is i guess.. can you guys tell me what are some aspects that rank the psu tires and how do i tell which is more compatible with my system, sorry i am a newbie to this,
  9. well i bought it from a local market for 10 bucks that guy said it's new it's just that he had 4 pin requirement mobo, i guess ill just buy a brand new one but id really like to know what's the issue in my current case meh i am well aware of that i wont ever risk overclocking, but still i dont think a new psu will make any difference since i am doing everything correctly
  10. So i've built a fresh pc everything is compatible except the cpu port gets only 1 x 4 pins cable, but when i boot it up all the fans will start along with the gpu's rgb lights etc, but after some time it restarts itself. -No i dont hear any beeps, the built fine -Yes all the components are compatible -My psu is 500 w which is enough i guess Some specs: MOBO:Asrock pro CPU:I57400 GPU:GIGABYTE 1050TI .According to most forums it should boot even with only one of the 4 pin cables, but in some cases it wont as the cpu's standart requirement is 8 pins which means 4 x 12V and 4 GNDS so i thought a 2 fan cables to one 8 pin adapter would do the job, note that it's not just a 4 to 8 adapter but one with two separate voltage sources,sadly it didnt work, i checked the cables using 12 v led stripes nothing, and finally tried to literally solder the fan's voltage and ground wires to 8 pins converter and still nothing, .I noticed that when i boot up the system with 1 x 4pins and it boots up and then i plug the 8 pins adapter it shutsdown completely and, which i guess shorts the mobo? i really think about buying a new cable with 2 x 4 pins but i really dont think anything will change since i did everything right.. If you have any clue or advices please save my ass:(
