  1. Just an update. I got my gtx 760 msi afterburner version, I thought the closed cooler design would suit my rig better. It will have an intake fan right under it to supply air. Wish me luck on setting this up. Now just have to sell of my asus r7 260x and gigabyte r9 270. Thanks for the help guys!
  2. But it will still bottleneck? Maybe it's better if I save up and get a better rig, planning on playing SC. Thanks for the help
  3. Maybe it's just me but I've been having trouble with amd drivers for 2 months now. So I would like to tryan nvidia gpu.
  4. Thanks for replying. Is the gtx 760 better than what I have? Won't my cpu bottleneck the gtx 760?
  5. Hi guys, As the title suggests, I'm thinking of getting an nvidia gpu. Here are the specs of my current rig. Thanks in advance for the help.
  6. Just tried hangar module on my system (athlon 760k, r7 260x, 8gb ram.) And it run! High on 1080p! Hoping I'll be able to play on at least medium when the game launches! Happy happy happy!!
  7. Hey guys! I own a freelancer and will be doing mostly exploration. But would it be helpful for the whole organization if I do a courier like job for free if the destination is in the general direction where I am heading? Incentives will be welcomed and appreciated! I'm new here and thank you for accepting my application.
  8. Thanks for the help guys! I have a good idea now of what to go with.
  9. Thank you for the quick reply. I will look into this and it does seem to be a better option as I can still get a display and the graphics tablet. One question though for the memory, higher bandwidth is better right? would a 1333Mhz be enough?
  10. Hi, as the topic suggests I would like to get some people's advice on using an A8 5600k for digital painting, photoshop work and maybe some 3d graphics design. I only have a limited budget and will be forced to use an APU and maybe use dual graphics when I get the chance. I have looked into getting an A8 5600k and a pair of 4Gb (8Gb total) 1866Mhz DDR3 memory. Would this be enough for my intended use? Or should I save up more to get a CPU+discrete GPU? Thank you in advance. Here's a breakdown of what I can get over here in the UK.
