  1. I have a very old and potato pc which has a pentium g630 and a dh61ho mobo over a year ago, I set out to upgrade it. so i purchased a gt 1030 (it was a time when i was skeptical about used parts) and slapped it on. it had only 2gigs of ram so i thought a ram upgrade would be enough but when i put on the 1030 and tested games i soon found out that i need a new processor not having the budget, i stayed with what i had Now that i finally got it granted from my parents, i can buy a new cpu the 1 within my budget that suits my mobo is the i5 3570s will it be sufficient for upto a rtx 2060 with no bottlenecks??? please reply
  2. The Most Common: Friends: You are very tech savvy, which brand pc do u own Me: Its not a pre-built, the computer shop custom built it for my budget specifically Friends: But which pc? Me: Shall i tell u the specs? Friends: What are specs? Me: The Specifications of the computer Friends: Then tell it Me: Pentium G630.......(tech blabber) Friends: wtf are u talking ? Me: My pc specs Friends: But which pc is it? Me: Which pc do u own then? Friends: (They usually just say the brand of the cd drive or the case) P.S i also have very tech savvy friends as well and i only talk tech in front of them so that this doesn't happen And i always have people having heard fake tech news and asking me about it which is like the most annoying thing ever and they keep saying that if i use a vpn to play pubg pc lite, police will catch and arrest me!!!! LIKE REALLY???
  3. I would rather step down to a 2060 and push up my cpu to an i5 9400 or r5 2600.or if he doesnt really want ray tracing , 1070ti is also a great option
  4. Well, now you have 2 in NVLink. lol ??
  5. I think 2070 as it is equiped with real time ray tracing functionality. It will be better in games like shadow of the tomb raider. 2070 will also have market support for a long time as it just came out.
  6. You can try trackmydevice if you are on android coz it also shows battery percentage but you will get a notification every time you do so and i think you can also do it with apple cloud if on ios
  7. I have an old family pc that i want to turn over and it only has 2gigs of ram. I can get a 4gig stick with my current budget. My question can I slap on the 4gig stick near my 2gig stick and make it 6gigs without any errors??? P.S both are ddr3 and i will choose matching ram speeds
  8. Can anyone please recommend the best bang for the buck ryzen 5 cpu. It is for a friend of mine (2nd gen preferred) - Thanks in advance
  9. I recently put a Gt 1030 into a 6 year old Pentium G630 PC and I immediately ran into bottle-necking issues as my CPU was bottle-necking my GPU as the GPU was only at 25% while my CPU was at 100% when playing games. My question is can I get better fps with a much lower end GPU that doesn't get into bottle-necking issues with my CPU and can it be solved vise-versa?
  10. 1. I recomend that you get an i5 8600k as it is only 1000 or so rs more 2. I recommend that you get a full atx motherboard like the asus prime h 370 m plus (but i am not too sure it is overclocking supported) as it has 2 pcie slots (I myself am struggling with a micro atx board and the fact that there are only 2 dimm slots).
  11. My pc almost everytime throws a red screen after booting to windows instead of the desktop(there is also a bit of lag in welcome screen). This problem only occurs with my windows account but nothing of this sort happens with the family account. It also sometimes boots if lucky. My cpu and motherboard are extremely old but hdd and gpu are brand new. My family account doesn't have a password so I tried removing my password but no improvements. I also tried messing with the bios but cant make it working as before. Please help!
  12. Can anyone help me with the parts for a 8600k build for my friend under 800$
