  1. I would go for the AIO silentium anyday. i rather have a AIO than noctua fans. might be a difference but i rather have watercooling looks better and feels better. and since i dont leave it running when i stop playing the humming noise of the fans/pump dont bother me
  2. Ok it seems like the 3rd and 4th slot are not working when i put a single ram stick in them and try to boot.
  3. I already tried cmos reset specs new set: G skill TridentZ rgb 4x 8Gb 2400 mhz cl15-15-15-35 1.2v old set: Ballistix 2x 4Gb 2666mhz cl16-18-18-38 1.2V Im going to check all the slots now. the TridentZ set is about 3 days old now.
  4. It really depends what fits the eye and what fits the case there isnt a perfect choice but i would recommend going for a cheap but nice brand like coolermaster also if you pick a rgb fan check if your motherboard had the connecter needed
  5. I thought i had problems with my old ram because the LED lit up and it wasnt booting. now i bought 4x8 32Gb G skill and it still doesnt boot the memOK led lights up and the Dram led lights up. there is no display but all the fans are spinning. it only boots when i put in 1 or 2 ram sticks and leave the rest out specs: i7 8086k gtx 1080 msi sea hawk z390-F asus 32 Gb g skill platinum corsair psu 800w 512GB samsung 980 m.2 to be honest i dont know where to start trouble shooting
  6. Depends if you have a custom loop or a all in one loop. custom is only if you have alot of time and money :)
  7. i did this too but its better if you get a piece of wood paint it black so you can still use the screws and stuff to hold it in the right place cardboard will tear appart
  8. Hey what kind of cooler do you have? Here are 3 easy steps to improve your temps 1 Set your cpu cooling fan to 100% in Bios 2 Clean out the alluminuim cooling part remove the dust so the cold wind can go through easily 3 if this all doesnt work take a look at your thermal paste or time for better cooling For Gpu idk what to maybe maybe one of these steps will work too!
  9. could the motherboard shortcurcuit with your case? remove it from your case put it on the box and try to start it. The bios update could be possible to.
  10. Could you make your question more specific? Your motherboard defines what you are building you cant put a new cpu in an old motherboard same with ram
  11. nevermind they use it to recignize when its booting sorry i think i might give my idea up
  12. they use unraid and the bad graphics card for a NAS right?
  13. well they are currently at celeron with 2 cores 8gb ram and on board graphics it isnt that bad but i thought 2 users 1 pc would be that hard
  14. most of the laptops have a 2,5" ssd which slides into the slot on the motherboard
  15. My parents have that kind of system right now so the best advice is just let them use that?
  16. Hey andy i see you upgraded your ram but i think its ddr3 and that is getting old just like the GT650M. A 1060 3G would be fine to game on if you dont go max settings 1440p. you can look up the game you want to play on youtube and add 1060 3G to it you will find alot. i also advice using ryzen because its better price/performance the Laptop/desktop is something you have to find out on your own. if you have any more specific questions you can just reply. Good luck!!
  17. Hey my parents have a really slow pc and i just have a new one. I saw linus video where he did 2 users 1 cpu. I want to do this with my parents they only use it for something like bookkeeping or word or to put photo's on nothing special. i want to game with it could this be possible? i can only find things how they do it and not what and how it runs. My pc specs CPU i7 8086k GPU 1070 asus RAM 16gb 2666hz M.2 500gb (will be upgraded if this is possible)
