How do I use an "Anti-Static Wrist Band"?
sweenytodd replied to Lord_Vortex's topic in Troubleshooting
Touch any metal (exposed) that is connected to the ground. I always touch the faucet before opening my PC and laptops. -
Not much. It only has Broadwell cpu support, M.2 and SATA Express. That's about it. If you can find a cheap Z87 mobo and a Haswell cpu, that's suitable for gaming, then you're golden.

Skylake is garbage, wait for Cannonlake. -op said so lol.

Corsair link does not recognise my h100i?
sweenytodd replied to Zach's Tech Tips's topic in Troubleshooting
Don't buy Corsair AIO coolers. Terrible Corsair Link support and loud fans. That's my beef about their AIO product line. -

RMAing your card doesn't guarantee the next card will be coil-whine free. I've done this and I still got one on the 2nd card. 2nd card is a brand new on Newegg replacement within 30 days of purchasing the 1st card.

RAM, how much does it matter?
sweenytodd replied to Zgypt118's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
High speed RAM makes difference on minimum FPS thus reducing stutters. -
