  1. that's definitely not the case, nothing works unless I power cycle the pc then it finishes the update
  2. Like I come home and the lights on my fans are on but everything else is off.
  3. So I'm fine with windows updating while I'm gone, the problem is that when it goes to restart and finish updating it gets stuck while trying to restart or something and I have to power cycle it to get it to finish the update.
  4. When windows auto updates while I'm work I come home to my pc off but the lights are on in the inside and when I turn it off and back on it takes forever to boot/finish updating. Is there a known fix to this? Here are my specs https://prnt.sc/pf5j1q
  5. Congratz, I don't come to the forums very often but I do watch almost every video you guys make. I really like quality of them all, I make sure to watch the WAN show every week. Also my favorite food is any form of pasta.
  6. But I don't at the moment, I'm wondering if I were to add a dedicated gpu would the integrated gpu being reflect in my cpu usage.
  7. I'm wondering if windows task manager is adding my integrated graphics to my cpu usage because they are on the same chip and if so would adding a gpu to my system reduce the "cpu" usage. Am I totally off base here?
  8. not that I know of, it just started happening in the last 24 hours. and steam reports that the max speed is about 3 MBps
  9. Speedtest.net is giving my computer a very slow download speed (2-3Mbps) compared to other computers in my house (50-60 Mbps) the upload seems to be fine though. My computer is wired and the ethernet cord works fine on other machines so I think it's a problem on this end. my specs -Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 -AMD A10-5800K -ASRock FM2A75M Pro4+ -8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 I've re installed drivers and restarted my computer and everything else I could think of. thanks for your help in advance EDIT: So I ran a speedtest again and got 35Mbps down, then ran another one and got 45Mbps, a third time gives me 8Mbps and now it won't go any higher than that. also other programs/websites are downloading much slower also. EDIT 2: it now appears to be only a problem with ipv4 adresses EDIT 3: I fixed it by uninstalling amd quickstream and xfast lan, I have no clue how they were installed in the first place
  10. I love the metal look, I'm tired of plastic, also the screen size is pretty sweet
