Try repasting the GPU with new thermal paste before replacing the cooler though as it is probably the thermal paste has got old as others have said
120gb ssd for c drive 2 TB hard drive for storage. I currently have a old 500gb Seagate barracuda in my PC but I want to be able to back it up as I would like to formant it so its just one drive as it used to be my OS (c) drive in a old pentium g620 system I had before.

U have to use a cloning program to transfer windows and have it bootable however as Electronics Wizardy said is bust to just do a clean install on the SSD

Just install the same version is home,pro etc whatever version u had beforehand and it will activicate automatically just I don't have a product key in the installer for windows and it should activicate automatically.
