    my dad has a rx 560 laying around,he has a dead r9 390 i could try baking back to life since its dead already also,thats why im only worried about the motherboard in general.

    I Was wondering if a budget laptop is possible for around 650 USD that would mainly used for gaming

    Games would be gta v,skyrim Special edition minecraft,arma 3,Hmcc,and satisfactory,and emulation like dolphin and pcsx2,and some Gba and if its possible star citizen

    I mainly really don't care about build quality only performance and battery performance,

    I also don't mind buying refurbished or used

    I have a Am2 am2+ pc i got recently and it wont start when i plug in the 4 pin cpu power pin in,but if i just have the motherboard power connector in it starts up,any clue whats wrong with it.

    I tried resetting cmos,i used just one ram stick in,i tried different configs in ram i tried with my gpu in and out 

    Motherboard is a asus M2N-sli Deluxe it has a AMD Phenom X4 9850 BE

    I'm not saying it absolutely wouldn't work, and I'm no engineer, but I remember leaning about basic fluid dynamics and my brain hurts already.

    A 120mm fan is 105mm in diameter from blade tip to blade tip, more or less 4 inches. YAY DUMB UNITS 🏫🔫🇺🇸 that means you can go get National Pipe Standard airflow loss equations off google. Woohoo.

    So basically a good, PRETTY, BEAUTIFULLY BROWN static pressure fan for a hopefully good PC pushes 2.34 mmH2O of static pressure. 1mmH2O is 0.00980665kPa so BADABING BADABOOM you now have NUMBERS. (0.022947561kPa to be exact)

     

    So. You put this in the number cruncher for NPS4 (4 inch pipe standard) and a pipe length of 2 meters:

    Long story short, 6.50255 e-5 PSI, which I rounded to 0.00007 because I wanted to, translates to 0.00413685 kPa and we've established that a good 120mm fan pushes about 5 times that amount.

    So your answer is:

    YES, IT WORKY WORKY 🎊

    I did the math and now I'm tired.

    You would put your 1-2gb of ram on a 100$ expansion card and have a super fast... 1-2gb of storage space.


    Same reason it’s not done today, there could be an eight ddr4 slot pcie card but what are you gonna do with it? Put a bunch of ddr4 on it and have basically a really expensive pcie SSD?

    I recently got a 2 gig stick of ram for my pc(Was running just a single channel of 4) and before i was able to play Gta sa with no problems and now i will click play on steam and it will say game running then a few seconds later it will stop running,any fix for this?

    P.s on on windows 7
