  1. There were no firmware updates and the error persists even when it the only device plugged into the laptop. The hard drive is a Transcend StoreJet 25H3 4TB for future reference.
  2. There have been no other issues with other hard drives, and I have tried all the U.S.B ports on my laptop. I currently don't have access to another computer though.
  3. The hard drive was working completely fine until it suddenly wasn't. Throughout the day, there were no problems, however, after not using the drive for a couple of minutes, suddenly it disappeared from windows explorer. After opening device manager I was greeted with the following error: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) The USB set address request failed. I have tried multiple troubleshooting steps but nothing has worked so far. Here's to hoping that someone has a fix that works.
  4. contact ubisoft support, they are surprisingly quick with responding. Might be worth a shot
  5. I have noticed that 2 cars (that I know of), the X80 proto and the Progen Tyrus have opposite handling physics i.e. they lean backward when breaking (but they're meant to lean forward). So far I think it's only these 2 cars and I've tried both in online and single-player. Does anyone know the cause of this and of it can be fixed?
  6. yup, i flipped all the switches but no change...
  7. yup, it crashes before it even loads the recovery application. if the laptop attempts to load basically anything it will crash and restart. Only the bios is accessible...
  8. Just cause 4. It was such a let down. The game looked like crap, it ran like crap and it feels as if the devs didnt give a crap. It felt like a demo for what their new engine could do, but it was just lacking as an actual game
  9. I got a new MSI GS75. After a recent windows update, the computer has failed to boot. It gets stuck at the logo and then restarts. I can't boot into windows and the recovery does not work either. Using an U.S.B I attempted to get into Linux but that failed too. The troubleshooting steps I have done so far are: -removing CMOS battery -Removing main battery and draining the system -replaced storage devices (confirmed to work) -replaced RAM (confirmed to work) -Resetting EC (the little hidden button) -Flashing the BIOS nothing has worked and the issue is the same and hasn't changed. The screen briefly flashes red before every "crash" restart.

  11. ubisoft servers are always a gamble, if you can't connect it's probably server side
  12. Does this laptop support charging over any of it's USB-C ports or nah?
