  1. So if I use that program to uninstall my drivers, would it automatically reinstall them?
  2. So recently my pc has started to act up by randomly freezing in games, having a delay when I try to search something up with cortana etc. And I'm just trying to find the root to this situation so I can fix it. I was possibly thinking that it could be because my disk space is running out? I also thought the issue was because I hadn't dusted my pc in a while, but even after I dusted my pc, the problem continued. I have malwarebytes + bitdefender and I have no trojans, malwares or viruses. Here is my disk space: Could it also be my fan? I have 8x2GB ddr4 2400mhz ram, GTX 1060 6GB, i7-8700 + a 750W Thermaltake PSU
  3. These games are very diverse, and just to elaborate, I don't particularly enjoy horror games and in shooting games, I particularly like them with fast paced and quick kill guns such as assault rifles and smgs, unlike shotguns. Games like COD & Battlefield aren't that good for me as they go for quite a long time sometimes. Throughout those answers, I liked Quake Champions, Overwatch, Titan Fall 2, Doom 2016, & Rainbow Six Siege. But I'm also looking for some non shooting games ;D, thanks for the replies so far, any more games? Now that I've given more context.
  4. You might get away with those specs, use the razer cortex game booster application.
  5. I mostly play first person games like on my list, and I'd like to explore some more with my new pc and also have a different genre of games. So it's really mixed! I'm willing to try new things if they're worth it.
  6. I recently switched from iMac to PC and am loving the flexibility! I haven't actually downloaded any games apart from my owned steam games and am looking for some suggestions ? Old Specs: i5, DDR3 1600 (21.5 1080p) New Specs: i7-8700, GTX 1060 6GB, 8GB DDR4 (24" 144hz 1080p 1ms) My Current Games: Fortnite / CS:GO (I mainly surf) / Rocket League / Minecraft I can typically spend up to $100 on some new games. I'm willing to extend this to $150 if some games are worth the price. I'm currently looking to buy overwatch / forza horizon 4.
  7. I stumbled across this: https://www.gamedude.com.au/products/shop/phanteks-rgb-led-strip-400mm-msi-mystic-light-sync-ph-ledkt_m4s But it's only 400 mm, and this is my case: So 400mm could only cover the entire length of the bottum of my case, but most pc's with rgb have the strips on all sides of their case (top, bottum, left and right). For around $20 - 30, wouldn't you expect it to have around 1m or higher cable length? Or is the strip possibly is bright enough to be placed at the bottom, and visibly light the whole pc? I'm fairly new to the whole "rgb" scene so it'd be nice if I can be informed with this. PS: There aren't multiple strips, just the single 400mm strip.
  8. If I select the first option, will it automatically change the location of my current applications to my hdd if I choose the hard drive or will it only do it to new applications. Also, what's the upside to having your "new documents" saved to your ssd? If there is any major speed differences. What applications are also recommended to have on a 250gb ssd?
  9. I've recently setup my ssd for booting my windows, but how can I customize my hard drive so it's set to the primary storage drive? I want everything (documents, videos, pictures) etc on my hard drive and only applications I choose such as chrome on my ssd. When I currently look at the location of my documents folder, it is set the my "C:" drive which is my ssd, I know I can change it to my D: (hard drive) but this is just inconvenient to do with every file. Is there any way to do this so it automatically goes to my 2tb hard drive & not my 250gb ssd?
  10. When I've reset my current user, and I start re-installing windows. When this pops up, you mean just delete every drive / partition that is shown apart from my ssd? By doing this, will it also 100% wipe the current 200gb / 2tb used on my hard drive so I can have the original 2tb for optimal usage?
  11. Will this delete my existing user too? Because when I reinstall windows, I don't want to have two users, my current one and the new user with my re-installation. I want to wipe this current account from my monitor completely for a fresh install, if that makes sense?
  12. I'm planning to do a fresh re-install of Windows 10, but before I do this I must wipe both my ssd and hard drive clean and fresh for optimal usage. How can I do this? Also, when reinstalling windows, will the drivers I installed with my current OS for my bios, motherboard, realtek etc stay? Or will I need to reinstall my drivers for my pc. After I've wiped the drives, how can I actually get rid of everything on this current OS and reinstall windows?
  13. Ridiculous cost, there won't be an extreme difference between a 250gb or 500gb boot sd, just get a 970 evo samsung m.2 250gb ssd for boot up. Let's say your steam library is 200 gb's, gta v being 70, other games being around 130, you'd only need around 500gb for games. (I have no idea but generally speaking) You certainly don't need an ssd for movies, let alone a 4tb ssd.
  14. You'd be looking at the Logitech G502 or Razer Naga
  15. Go for a hybrid drive instead of a hdd, they're faster, not as fast as an ssd, and they're only a bit more expensive.

    SSDs!

Thanks that response helped a lot.

    SSDs!

So why don't people just go for a say, 120gb ssd or lower for boot times if windows only takes around 50gb, is it due to other things being installed such as games? Also, how can you make it so you choose which application you want to download on your ssd

    SSDs!

Do you recommend me to partition the ssd to its full size (250gb) incase anything is somehow on it, as the size of it is 230 gb right now. Same goes for my hard drive.

    SSDs!

I actually installed my operating system on my hard drive. Will I have to reinstall windows on my ssd now and re-download everything?

    SSDs!

^^, so I have a 250gb samsung ssd, which I got for $100. How can I fully utilize the size of the ssd, as it's 250gb.

    SSDs!

My average download speed is 80 - 90 mpbs, whilst my upload speed is around 30 - 40. I have a Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SSD. Can I install games on my ssd to improve their boot time, whilst still using the ssd for boot times and just keep my 2tb hard drive for storing photos, movies etc? Will this effect any boot times or anything?
  22. Supahh

    SSDs!

If you use an ssd for booting your pc, can they still be utilized for downloading games so the games can launch faster too? If so, I presume that this will also slow the boot time? Leave your two cents down below.
  23. Your power supply won't power your system, I'd suggest a power supply over 850 watts. You might want to invest in a 1000 watt supply for future proofing.
  24. There's actually no g-sync monitors in australia under $450 aud.
  25. https://www.viewsonic.com/us/xg2530.html (240hz 1ms TN) https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/24--cfg73-gaming-monitor-with-quantum-dot-lc24fg73fqnxza/ (144hz 1ms VA) I have an i7-8700 & a GTX 1060 6GB. I've heard many people saying there's no need for a curved monitor in a 24" panel, so will the curve be a downside or technically a good thing, or will I barely tell the differencE? Uses: Gaming Youtube Some movies Mild video editting My budget is $400 AUD, and these monitors come in at the exact same price with shipping I know I'm not going to actually hit 240hz, but the monitor is exactly $399, with usb ports so it's a nice thing to have. Leave your two cents in the comments, as I'm not actually sure on which to get.
