  1. Hmm... okay then I think I have 160gb drive lying around I'm gonna try installing ubuntu to that.
  2. I was trying to fix my neighbour's old laptop. I determined the problem was the OS and needs reinstalling. I tried to put the HDD on my external drive enclosure but when I plugged it in to my desktop. It wont detect the files and just showed up as 4 partition, 3 of them being Local DIsk somehow. Also when plugged the usb controller gone haywire somehow. Then I tried using Ubuntu via bootable usb stick hopping maybe it can read it. And you know what it did. But I can't transfer the file to my computer drives 'cause it detects it as a read only drive Can someone helped with transferring these files.
  3. My laptop (i5-8265U, MX250) always stuttered when I am playing games. I checked it with Afterburner and it turns out when gpu reached ~84C it throttled hard to 150mhz then it was normal again. This keeps on going for about 5 minutes and it settled at ~76C and the throttling stops, but after around 20 minutes it does it again and again and again and again. I've been was able to minimize it by using GPU Tweak by capping the frames to 48 fps, after that there's only one major stutter about every 30 minutes. Can someone tell me what"s going on? please tell me that this is an one off thing or this is how ASUS configure this laptop.
  4. Does anyone know a good custom rom for the asus zenfone go zb500kl, maybe Lineage OS or some other custom rom. Can you guide me through it?
  5. try downloading an iso from google drive then open it with winrar or poweriso. link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzCyEZsoMgBPNG9Md29RV0FNWE0/view?usp=sharing
  6. IMO a dead psu from me is if you SNIFF it you can smell something is burned
  7. Have you try to run the setup.exe from the ISO directly from your desktop
  8. Does your laptop still have Win10 ?
  9. Ok, Cool!, so any PCIe card are compatible. Thank you
  10. Privet!, I'm looking for a really cheap card for 10$ or under. Right now I'm looking at the 9400 gs or quadro nv295 for 5$,but I'm worried that it wont be compatible with windows 10. I'm not a technician myself just a seventeen year-old that like to fix other people's pc
  11. I have the same problem too, but now I have Post code B2 but peripherals still not working
  12. Does anyone knows how to flash the bios of the MSI B85M-IE35(P33). It's showing B2 code and I can't get into the bios, also I can't seem to find the cmos pin.
  13. Does anyone know how to flash the bios of a MSI B85M-IE35 mobo because I'm keep getting B2 error code and I'm struggling to find the cmos pin.
  14. I used my pc to play game for about two hours, then I take a brake on my bed looking at the monitor thinking "how fat I am" then suddenly the pc and monitor shut off, a few seconds later the pc turns it self on but there was no display and my keyboard and mouse not turning on. How I know, well there RGB so.. yeah... Anyway upon closer inspection my GPU fan speed is bouncing allover the place and yes I've tested the monitor, keyboard and mouse using my laptop and they work.
  15. Well.. if you add 1080x1020 you get 1.1 million pixel and 1440x1080 its about 1.3 million pixels so naturally the more the pixel the harder it is to process
