Because a gpu takes a hell of a lot more money to make it.

I assume that this would be different from screen to screen?

For those of you who think that this is the death of bitcoin you are VERY wrong.

Mount Gox was at one point the largest trader.  Before it's first failure (when btc was around $1000) there were 2 other traders the same size or larger.

This is not a joke. I Understand that peoples money has been stolen. I honestly feel very bad about that but you wanted anonomous and unregulated currency....You got it.

Crypto currencies have massive potential, but I just find the blind faith of some bitcoin users to be laughable. Go to any bitcoin section on any online forums from a few days back and you will see tons of people "laughing off" this threat and telling everybody that they were stupid to panic.

The bitcoin community seems to be incapable of a realistic assesment of their currency.

I believe Japanese Government are trying too change the behavior of its young people, to be more social with other people. Can't say I'm very surprised by this given Japan has one of the lowest birthrates of developed industrialized countries.

At least they have a high suicide rate to make slightly up for it.

Yea but don't they have any tax on their goods. Because I would really love it if VAT went and f*cked itself. It is damaging to the economy. There have been many a times when I wanted to buy something and realized I couldn't because VAT is extortionate. What is the point of having a strong currency when a country with weaker currency gets goods for cheaper.

These aren't Maxwell GPU's and Maxwell isn't a "Kepler refresh". The 700 series was the refresh. Maxwell is by definition a different architecture and on the 20nm process.

If thats the case, we won't see any maxwells until Q4. 20nm aren't ready before.

What did you have trouble with?

A friend of mine has the galaxy tab, and Ive had both the galaxy S2 and the galaxy S3. All three devices pair without any trouble with LG, sony and samsung devices.

It also works with any microsoft application like office.

To claim that there is any similarity with apple here is simply not the case. Apple has created a completely isolated system and does this on purpose. Samsung has worked together with other producers, especially their fellow south korean ones.

But that might change in the future. Who knows. But it is nothing like apple.

There are features on the galaxy 4 that only works on new samsung tvs but that is their inclusive special interactive remote thingy(Samsung should really hire me to name their products....The thingy line), but that is pretty understandable since they had to put in special things in those tvs to make it work. Doesn't work on older samsung tvs either. But the G4 perfectly shares any video with all kinds of tvs, as long as they have wifi.

So you start a discussion by dissing everybody who doesn't agree with you and then when you get pushback you attempt to once again insult people with sentences like "Boils down to how open they are to taking things into their own hands" and "Feel free to continue complaining".

Where did I "diss" anyone, specifically "everyone"? I said MOST, not ALL, or EVERYONE. If there exits an issue and you don't want to fix it but would rather point and shout how bad the problem is when you are able to fix it or work around it then you are complaining to complain. That isn't an insult. It is an observation.   -  Ahhh now you are trying to play word games. Most=Majority. Thats like saying "I didn't call all girls stupid, but most are"......

If you don't get why the transition from W7 to W8 is fundamentally different from Xp to W7, then you are simply not paying attention. W8 changes the way to use windows fundamentally for the first time in 20 years.....

There have been major changes in how Windows looks and functions over the past 20 years. Admittedly Windows 8 was the largest. - Yes.

My attitude is nothing like Microsoft. I don't say that their products are problem free. XP support was provided until this year because most businesses used XP. People didn't want to upgrade to Vista/7. Has nothing to do with Windows 8. A lot of business applications are what is considered legacy. Legacy apps don't run too well on Vista/7. Also I never said you were lazy. I've been blunt enough that you should realize if I wanted to call you lazy I would have.

I played plenty of games that were glitchy. I had the exact same attitude I have here. I either found ways around the issues, waiting for updates or did what most people did and was slogged through it, dealt with it and continued to have fun with the game. -

Maxwell is just an architecture can be at 28nm (gtx 750ti/gtx750 whatever it was) or 20nm. For the 800 series we'll see 20nm cards. The architecture will have performance improvements and maybe power tweaks, but 20nm will allow to use more transistors and therefore get much more performance out of it at a much better performance/wattage ratio.

It was my understanding that the high level cards would be 20nm.

yes the highest native speed for the memory controller on haswell is 1600 MHz.

Its nice for other things as well but the main thing with eat I think would be for the non blower GPU's that heat wont go straight onto the MB.

Thats what I heard too. There are SO many people buying expensive rams that they can't even take advantage of.
