Turns out it was a software issue. i had changed the power plan to balanced but (i think) because of asus software it must not have let me changed it fully. i uninstalled Asus software and windows power plan actually applied the balanced setting after this. Now the cpu MHz actually change now i can finally install my 3700x and x570 creation board.

So im about to upgrade my pc and i want to use the old parts in my unraid build. i have a 4770K on an asus maximus formulla vii board. i did a auto over clock a while ago but now i want to set it back to stock so the unraid system runs stable and low power. i restored the bios to "Optimised defaults" ( cant see a normal default) but i still dont think its right as the cpu is pinned at 3.9GHz i cleared Cmos with the button didnt change anything either. Should i try Updating bios? ( haven't ever done it) should that clear all over clock setings? Can anyone help me get it back to normal? here are some screen shots to show the issues i think i have. Also side question when i upgrade my mobo cpu and ram will windows auto detect and validate or do i need to do anything? many thanks

Yeah i think its pretty good. Its just a really fun, easy going shooter . I think Nintendo is onto a winner with this one. whats your weapon of choice? The fact that there isn't many maps/modes is a bit of a downer though.

also whats this amibo thing about? are they like dlc characters or something?

So yeah i bought the wii for splatoon mostly as it looks fun to play and i think my gf will really enjoy it too. Can you guys recommend any accessories i need? Or games? (got splatoon & zelda wind) or good sites for cheap codes. or if you wanna play with me drop me your name i think mine is madmanchrisr also bought it from Argos for £199 (premium edition with zelda & splatoon) also got a £20 voucher with it. Every where else its like £250 so a pretty good price i think.

Mine is from my server asrock C2750D4I or my R9 290 similar price. Both around £350.

i own it. it doesn't obstruct air flow. but when dust gathers behind it, it will be a pain to clean as you need to take the front panel off to unscrew it. minor problem for such a great case.

Not fully true i have a sails edition k95 rgb. i think it is just a logo change ( but they've changed everything so re branding maybe). The only difference between a gaming and vengeance k70 would be the logo.

So i got a Corsair K95 Sails edition (Mx Red) for Christmas. I love this keyboard its great. The colors look amazing! and some of the light patterns are epic! The only problem is any changes i make in the CUE software don't stick and i cant see a save button or anything along those lines. In the YouTube videos I've seen no one says how to get them to stick to the keyboard. When i first put the keyboard in it said to do a firmware update....... but this is corsair. all there firmware upgrades have failed me in the past and wrecked the product. I've also seen people complain about the firmware update. so yeah am doubt full I'l do that without fully researching that. I was wondering how you get the profile to stick to the keyboard. instead of returning to the default. Also i want Linus to do a LTT key-cap!! Thanks for any help in advance.
