  1. New version released: windows 10 2004 new skydec10 - live os based on windows 10 2004 x64 updated programs and live os antivirus program databases to 2020-06-15 links: z01: skydecboot_win10x86x64en2004-20200617.7z.001 - Google Drive z02: skydecboot_win10x86x64en2004-20200617.7z.002 - Google Drive read more at: https://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/158859-all-one-usb-boot-drive.html#post1942214
  2. So your usb has GPT partition system and the partition is formated with FAT32 ? Try to create MBR partition system, or let Media creation tool do everything. From my own experience not all systems will boot from all usb drives, bios simply won't detect that the usb is plugged in to start booting from it. You can try different ports, usualy it works if the port is usb2 only. Also capacity of the drive can be a factor as most HP devices won't detect usbs over 32gb. I have several bootable usb drives and on some devices all of them work in every usb port but on some devices only one will be bootable and in only one port.
  3. Download Furmark and try running it's stress test. If it fails try downloading Video memory stress test ( there are dos and windows versions) and run it and look for errors. This might sound strange but it might be a psu issue.
  4. If the problem is with usb try to delete all it's partitions in Disk management, then scan your usb with victoria or similar sector scaning tool to se if there are any bad sectors on your usb. Also try running the media creation tool as admin. Someone wrote that you sould create partition and format it to FAT32, then copy MCT to the usb and run it from there. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/windows-10-media-creation-tool-error-0x80042405/f453c643-419b-4342-943d-e4b204644e9a
  5. Try creating the usb with Microsoft media creation tool, then it should work 100% If you have a newer pc you wont be able to install 32bit windows in UEFI mode, so you should switch to legacy boot. If you have an older pc it wont be able to boot from usb at all. Writing down which pc you use would be helpfull To install windows from windows try extracting the iso image and then running the setup, this will update the whole system or use WinNTsetup to install it to other partition.
  6. Compiled another version with added september updates for windows and office, updated malwarebytes, av, superantispyware definitions, new verion of installed programs, new drivers etc. this time I uploaded to google drive https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Zlfb2rBt33JBAmWCASo2O4DExvyjBYVu https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NzXV9Rp_XaqNqiCPhExxEEFquQ6lXlVC download, extract with 7z, burn with usbit updated manual: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1MUMRDuuULV0uzINgaa7nFuQyIQiRp5yR Next verion will probably be 1809 windows Also I took some time to see why there are problems with vga drivers, so AMD driver have a problem because they keep older hwids in newer version of drivers. They have 3 driver packages for desktops 1. hd 2000 3000 4000 2. hd 5000 6000 7350-7690 8350-8490 3. newer than 1 and 2 but even 3rd package has hwids of 1st and 2nd hardware in them and they install but without 3d support ( if you have 4850 vga and install newest driver it will show in control panel as installed but it wont run games) I tried removing older hwids from newer drivers infs but then the driver would become unsigned and would not install any more Manualy signing drivers is not an option since I would need to buy a code signing certificate Nvidia drivers also have to be redone since it needs another package for discontinued fermi cards Will try to fix as much as possible till next release

  8. Also I've made a combined picture of the EFI boot options
  9. I've updated the windows installation with new windows and office updates and some programs updates. Test installation done on : A785GXH/128M Athlon II x2 240 4gb ddr2 120mb blast SSD Installation started 12:00 (3AM pc time), used autounattended for en-us x64 pro windows Selected windows and disk and left the automation do do all else. 12:12 first restart 12:16 second restart 13:31 shutdown (4:31 pc time) List of installed programs: and updates root reports drivers report PC info Connected to internet to check for updates No new updates found all was updated during installation .NET 3.5 and DX9c were also installed during automation period. So the whole installation took 2 hours (including taking pictures) but more importantly it took only 15 minutes of my own time to install this pc and almost no internet traffic since all updates were pulled from the usb.
  10. Hi, I'm currently assembling a software package for a 32GB USB stick that would replace all my current USBs with one. I have atm created an uefi and legacy bootable drive containing: windows 10 1803 x64x86 with premade autounatended files, and combined client and business esd images ( home pro and enterprise windows with N and VL versions) setupcomlete scripts that are installing updates, office 2016 + updates, most commonly used programs like chrome, 7z, adobe reader, vcpp, dx and other. SAD3 script for installing drivers, OOBE script that is installing background depending on MBO manufacturer and script that shuts down annoying sounds. The PC defragments and shuts down when it's all done. The idea is you boot from your USB and chose the partition for installation and after 2-3 hours depending on the speed of the PC it's all finished. No user input after choosing partition required. Plus there are several bootable windows PE images like gandalfs, DLC1, hirens mini 7, windows 10 PEs are working from secure UEFI. Some specialized software bootable images like partedmagic, ultimate boot cd, comodo live AV and many other. Hiren's menu is rebiult with new programs like complete new nirsoft pack, newer diagnostics tools, remoteconnect tools and many other. If somebody is interested in using/testing/helping with developement I can send you a torrent to download this image (its 30GB !). Current videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOurck0U2QnyerkB9IIUL7g If someone wants more pics or videos I can add them as well as more info on the project. If you know a program/app that was useful in your diag/debug/repair please inform me about it so I can add it to the collection.
