    Hdmi to Send DP?

But adapter(HDMI to HDMI > to adapter > DP, with cable locked 60hz, Cable won't work? https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Adapter-Converter-Gold-Plated-Compatible/dp/B017Q8ZVWK/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2SQT7CY8SBY0R&dchild=1&keywords=dp%2Bto%2Bhdmi&qid=1635733772&s=electronics&sprefix=dp%2Bto%2Bhdmi%2Celectronics%2C124&sr=1-5&th=1

    Hdmi to Send DP?

"Certain older AMD graphics cards require a native DisplayPort connection or DisplayPort active adapters to connect more than 2 monitors. This limitation ONLY applies to certain older AMD graphics cards. NVIDIA graphics cards have never had this limitation, and newer AMD graphics cards also no longer have it. DisplayPort / DP active adapters are not required for multi-monitor configurations unless you have one of the AMD graphics cards listed further down." So still not sure is Monitor HDMI1080p 74Z to DP is cable to (HDMI Monitor > DP/GPU) or just use adapter / HDMI to HDMI to DP(GPU)? Edit: triple display.

    Hdmi to Send DP?

    1070 ti ftw ultra silent . 1HDMI / 1 VGA / 3DP. 4k tv 60hz Hdmi> Hdmi 1080p 144hz DP > DP 1080p 60hz(is where I ask) Monitor only hdmi. Need convert to DP for GPU. Can do 74hz OC.
  5. Monitor is HDMI >GPU=DP is cable enough or need adapter?
  6. I went to play some GTAV and was getting a lot of stutter/100%cpu usage, and even noticed hitting 100% cpu usage in more games. I tried thinking of what really changed the past yr or so since I last played it, and couldn't think of nothing for awhile. Then was like oh ya Spectre and Meltdown. I remember looking around at the time when hearing about it, I seen around 5% for a 4670k, but never really benchmarked it. After a little digging I found how to disable/enable it threw bat files. So i ran a couple firestike extremes and was kinda shocked. After 3 runs with it off/on I took the middle score of both and seen physics score 6,370 vs 8,679. That's more like 27% I also ran a few cinebench's @4.5Ghz.. 521(multi)ON/641(multi)OFF @4.5Ghz 167(single)ON/172(Single)OFF Userbench went from 93% to 99% on cpu. Was wondering if anyone was just turning them off for gaming, then turning them on for browsing? If so how well dose it impact your gaming experience when turning it off?
  7. Thanks seems like dual male 3.5mm might be the only option then.
  8. Was wondering if there is some software way on making my gpu to tv work backwards? Instead of audio coming out of tv when using normal tv like roku/netflix other built in apps audio coming out of tv speakers. To make it come out of speakers hooked up to pc. Is there some software or is the only option a 3.5 to 3.5 dual male connection (headphone out of tv to line in on mb)? Will hdmi arc work rather not try and mess up the gpu.
  9. I would visual inspect the ram pins on the motherboard may require a magnifying glass, you could us like 90 degree tweezers to rebend/fix the pins on the MB. Also check the ram leads there self and make sure non are damaged, if they are you could use like a solder pen? That's what I been calling them for years at least, it's like a ink pen that uses a self drying solder mainly to fix traces on pcb boards.
  10. If you really care for rgb look for something like a. Barrow 8-Port RGB Light Controller with Remote 10-15$ shipped.
  11. When you don't install the driver is it saying it's a generic Microsoft driver? Before installing the amd driver? "Edit: I found this on a used marketplace and originally intended to use it until I could afford a better GPU. " You could try to down clock it/under volt it, but keep in mind this card is quite old(2012), I had a similar issue with a 7770 but got a 7990 pretty cheap a couple year's ago to run 1 game.. that hated nvidia. I recently sold a evga 780 sc for 50$ local, they go for about 50-75$ around here and is better in alot of cases then the 7870. I think one of the best budget cards local ads here is the 780ti 75-120$. You might be better off to accept you lose if going to a older driver dose not work, down clocking it or under volting it.
  12. I'd almost say don't bother, yes it cheap and if that's all you care about then it's fine. I bought the same cause around 6yr's ago and was way below my standards for even a 40$ case, and my case standards are pretty low. Both usb plugs died in about 1 month, edge's are very sharp no cpu backside cut out etc.. Gpu temps where very high in this case. Even after a lot of case mods I did to the case, I felt bad selling it for 20$.
  13. XIV gives you more time tho, like trying to stun in XI would be a different story.
  14. Matter's what the latency is, going from broadband to mobile for me is 60ms to 140ms, and i wont play fps game at 100ms+.
  15. +1 to Buying used 1060/580 with 6/8gb vram would be smart imo. 4gb is where to the point 4gb is not enough in most newer games. The more you have the more most games can utilize.
  16. I'm trying to see what other's think is the best upgrade for the 4-500$ range. Some games are just killing my current cpu 100% load = stuttering etc. Was thinking of selling my cpu/ram/mb and use 300$ to upgrade. My first thought was just go ryzen 2600 but looking more into it, "needs ram 3200+ with cas14 or lower" 190+$ "x470 mb" blah blah, to make it work/worth the upgrade? Nexus shows 9600k has some issues. I have a 4670k @4.5 / asrock killer z97 / 16gb gskill @2133. Was assuming I could get at least 150-200$ for that. I have a H100i and 1070ti with kraken g12/H50 for cooling/gpu before someone ask. I don't stream but do have some multi tasking gaming/music/chrome etc. Not looking for "future proof" but something that last a few year's would be nice. Mainly for gaming since that's where I see the issue's. Side note I was more focused on going 1080p 144hz / buying a monitor. But seeing 100% usage I thought id stick to 75hz and upgrade. 17. Well my cpu is seeing 40~45c under load and gpu's 39~43c, Never seen them either over 45c. Outside of cpu spikes This room never hits 70+f .
  18. I changed my desk around and maintenance of dust screens is becoming a annoyance. Is airflow of components needed really? Or should I just wall mount my pc? Gpu's/Cpu are on water. Only thing needing air is cpu vrm's? I have the stuff around to wall mount it for less then 10$, where a decent case is 100-200$, The case I'm using is pretty modded/cheap.
  19. Do you have Realtek HD Audio Manager? Search or Under Control panel > Hardware and Sound. If so "Device advance settings"
  20. "Evga 650w B" 3-4yr's old. Even turning off all other options in aida64, just leaving gpu stress makes it stutter. Kinda makes me think it's not PSU related. I'm using browser's. It is a lot more noticeable in edge vs chrome(default), but need to use edge for 1080p streaming drm etc. Also ment to add it still dose it with stock clocks/even underclocked by 100Mhz. Regardless if It's underclocked or not I see the default adaptive .887v's/324Mhz. Why I tired to even force browser's to run at non-boost clock @941Mhz since low requirement games make's it remove the stutter effect, while doing this. About to sleep will check back tomorrow.
  21. I'm trying to troubleshoot a split second stutter during Video streaming prime/netflix. My current pc seems to not have issue normal browsers/programs and even gaming(unless the game uses a low clock/GPU %). And then I just set it ti "prefer maximum performance) and issues goose's away. I've tried stock/underclocking cpu. Setting browsers to "Prefer maximum performance". Memtest 12hr's. MB bios upgrade. Fresh windows install. Different version of Driver's outside of audio. Prime95. Disabling hardware acceleration. A few different Disc drive test. Aida64 is the kicker/shows the stutter, Stress Cpu/FPU/cache/memory/disk is fine as soon as I add stress GPU is when I notice split second mouse freezes/ stuttering. I just sold a backup gpu I had laying around, and don't think It's worth upgrading atm. Doesn't really seem worth it atm, with a mindset of needing a 980ti/1070 350$+ used. Dose anyone have any suggestions/thoughts of what to try? Since the kraken g12 supports my GPU and also my planned upgrade when/if GPU prices drop I opted to order it and to add some heatsinks(for VRM/VRAM) ~50$ all in, since I have a Corsair H55 laying around. Well I guess I should leave spec's: I5 4670k @4.6Ghz/1.25v's (corsair h100 v1) 16GB G.Skill "Ripjaws"? @2133Mhz 1.65v's Evga GTX 780 SC, oc'ed to 1100 on stock power%/core, Will thermal throttle under some games if i rise it. Z97 Asrock Killer 128GB Muskin SSD, 1TB seagate baracuda, 500g WD black, 3tb Hitachi w/e 7,200rpm. Evga 650w B Win10 Pro x64 I'm not really looking to upgrade till performance per/$ comes down I'm fine running 90% of games on high @75hz~ and a few AAA titles at 60Hz~.
